Dr. Kissel has been happily married for over 20 years and is a proud father of two sons. In his free time, Dr. Kissel enjoys playing tennis, riding horses and being actively engaged in fitness activities. Dr. Kissel is also an avid car enthusiast.

I had a gum graft surgery with Dr. Kissel this summer. I was given localized numbing shots that were small and effective. I appreciated how Dr. Kissel explained each step of the surgery and called to follow up the evening following the procedure. The staff has also been so helpful -- my insurance has been difficult to work with but Viviana has kept following up on my behalf in order to make sure the insurance has received everything they need to process my claim. I am so happy I chose NYC Periodontics and Implant Dentistry.

I have had two extractions and two implants performed by Dr. Kissel with almost zero post-operative discomfort. Dr Kissel uses conservative surgical techniques, the latest technology, and his own expertise to ensure the best possible patient outcomes. You can also expect him to call you at home that evening to make sure you are doing ok.

Dr.Kissel is wonderful. I had a back molar extracted, bone graft and implant placed in my mouth, all with minimal pain. His staff is lovely and efficient, and his office is immaculate. Dr. Kissel is fantastic! He did a microsurgical gum grafting for me two years ago which went smoothly with great results. He did two dental implants for me yesterday and I feel great today! He is a fantastic periodontist. Thanks to his high technology processes, the procedures are as easy and painless as they can possibly be.

Dr. Kissel is fabulous, hard to imagine one could be in better hands for a dental implant procedure. Each step was done efficiently with minimal to no pain or discomfort, and the results are exceptional. I highly recommend Dr. Kissel! also the office was exceptionally clean and well organized for the COVID situation and I felt as safe as could be possible.

I just had the third implant done and, as with the prior two, it was quick and painless. I had hesitated in the past, fearing that the process would be much more complicated, but it couldn't have been easier. Also, the office is immaculate, which today is more important than ever. Finally, the courtesy and professionalism shown by Dr. Kissel and his associates add to the overall positive experience.

Anyone who decides to go to Dr. Kissel for an Implant has made a very wise decision indeed. He uses the most up-to-date equipment, so the patient experiences no pain whatsoever during any part of the procedure. And the procedure itself proceeds timely, smoothly and without any complications. His office staff is alwyas professional and helpful. But most inportant, Dr, Kissel is caring and considerate. I remember having an emergency which Dr. Kissel immediately treated in lieu of taking his lunch. Don't take a chance by going to anyone else!

Dr. Kissel and his entire team were exemplary. I came in with an implant complication, a budget and years of bad dentist experiences and the team here took great care. Dr. Kissel took the time to talk me through my options, he gave me realistic expectations and explained all possible outcomes. He recommended a conservative yet effective treatment path that meant the least amount of time in the chair and cost consciousness. He even spoke regularly with my standard dentist to determine my best course of action. You just don't find docs like this anymore. His team is just as thorough and kind, and even appointment and insurance issues are handled with care. I cannot recommend his practice enough. Thank you to the entire team.

I've had several procedures with Dr Kissel this year. Each time, he explained what he was doing, managed my pain during and after wonderfully, and followed up to make sure I was healing well. His office staff is courteous and efficient and I am no longer fearful of needing oral surgery!
