Providing excellent dental care is not a one size fits all.There are many factors that must be taken into consideration when making dental recommendations. It is important to us to be conservative, efficient, and practical with care.
The way we approach a 2-year-old will be different than a 6-year-old. Our approach for a 10-year-old, who may be about to lose several baby teeth due to normal exfoliation, will be different than a 12-year-old who has all permanent teeth. Parents must be informed and involved in all treatment recommendations.
Patients and families must feel comfortable and valued in order to establish a long- lasting trusting relationship. Our strength comes from working together as a staff and with the families who entrust their children to us.
She then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 2002. She pursued advanced specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and is on staff at Montefiore Nyack Hospital.
Dr. Boudounis is married, has two children and resides in Rockland County and was recently awarded Hudson Valleys 2021 Top Dentists plaque for being chosen by her peers as one of our areas top dentists for 10 consectutive years.
She completed her undergraduate studies at the University at Albany earning a Bachelor of Arts in English. She then went on to Bergen Community College to earn an Associates in Applied Science and received her Dental Hygiene license. She is also on staff at Montefiore Nyack Hospital.
Dr. Marn was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. He received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Washington University, graduating magna cum laude, and earned his medical degree from the John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii. After his surgery internship at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, he completed an anesthesiology residency at New York University Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital in 2004. He subsequently accomplished a one-year pediatric anesthesiology fellowship at the prestigious Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2005, which at the time was ranked the top hospital in the nation.
Dr. Richard Marn is an active member of the American Society of Anesthesiology, Society of Pediatric Anesthesia, New York State Society of Anesthesiologists, International Anesthesia Research Society, and the Society of Ambulatory Anesthesia. He is double Board-Certified in Anesthesiology and Pediatric Anesthesiology via the American Board of Anesthesiology.

My toddler had his first ever dentist visit with them. They were thoughtful and mindful of his wariness. Everyone was so kind and patient. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. The covid safety protocols were also fantastic. Thanks for a great experience!

I brought my youngest son into Nyack Pediatric Dentistry today & couldn't have asked for a more positive experience (child & parent)! Everyone was so pleasant, friendly, positive & upbeat & it definitely helped us to feel so comfortable. Dr. Angela took her time to explain what she was doing, gave her recommendations & answered all of my questions without feeling rushed out of the room. Really great dentist, staff & office!

Dr. B and her staff are awesome! It was my 4yo son's first time at the dentist and they were so good and gentle with him. The facility was very clean and there was a tv on the ceiling to keep him occupied. He happily walked out with a very nice goodie bag and he's already talking about going back! We highly recommend Dr. B!

To say that Dr. Boudounis and staff are amazing, wonderful and caring would be the understatement of the year. You could not dream for better. The way the office and the doctor handle the patients and their parents is incredible. My children fully cooperate because they are never afraid.

I have been taking my daughter to Nyack Pediatric Dentistry for many yrs and she loves Dr B and Nancy, her hygienist and the other amazing staff members. She was terrified of going to the dentist and now is great at going to get her check-ups and cleaning. I would highly recommend this practice and Dr Boudonis, as it is always an amazing experience for my daughter. The office is amazing and friendly environment, kids are treated with respect and kindness and everything is explained in terms for them to understand about caring for their teeth etc. Excellent Practice.
