After graduating from University of Mumbai in 1999 with her dental degree, marriage brought her to the United States. With a passion for dentistry, she graduated as class valedictorian from the International Dentist Program at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, California. Dr. C practiced general and cosmetic dentistry in the Chicagoland area and in Connecticut prior to relocating to the Austin in 2016.
She prides on being gentle and patient, especially with fearful dental patients and children. Dr. C is member of the American Academy of General Dentistry and the International Association of Orthodontics. She is certified in Invisalign, TMD (Temporomandibular Disorder) and Sleep Apnea and Snoring treatment using dental appliances. She loves to travel and cook and spend time with her family exploring the Round Rock and Austin area.
Dr. Chaluparambil, who also goes by Dr. C, was born and raised in Texas City, TX. Dr. C proudly attended Texas A&M University and graduated with the class of 2007. He graduated with a degree in Bio-Medical Sciences with a minor in business. After his time at Texas A&M, he attended the University of North Texas Health Science Center for his masters in Medical Sciences. His passion for the community took him to the University of Texas Health Science Center for a Masters in Public Health. During that time he completed a practicum working on curriculum and process improvements in the bioinformatics department of the UT dental school. He then joined the VA as the virtual tumor board coordinator helping with the coordination of care for our nations veterans.
Dr. Cs enthusiasm and passion for dentistry started after his time at Texas A&M. From his interactions with patients and staff, Dr. C instantly fell in love with dentistry due to its dynamic nature. Dr. C had valuable exposure to perform complex procedures when he was first learning. This helped him focus on cosmetic and surgical procedures that make him the esteemed and skilled dentist he is today.
Dr. Grahl grew up in a very loving and supportive family in San Diego, California. He attended the dental school at the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine, graduated with honors, Cum Laude, and Top 5 in his class. While working through dental school, he was the recipient of numerous awards and honors that included Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Honorary Dental Society, American Association of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons Award, Delta Dental Student Leadership Award, and was awarded the 2017 Las Vegas AAID MaxiCourse Student Scholarship.
He believes in being active in our community and hopes to give back whenever possible. When he is not traveling to the latest dental education conference, he is enjoying time with his wife, Rachael, their daughter, BriarRose, and their two dogs. He works hard to maintain a very active lifestyle outside the office and feels strongly that overall health improves every aspect of our daily lives. Dr. Grahl is currently working towards accreditation with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). While he is constantly working to hone his skills for every patient, he hopes you will find his commitment to excellence to be an asset that provides you with better overall health.
Susan, NuYu Dentals Practice Manager, moved to central Texas in 2008 and resides in Round Rock with her husband and three children. Susan has worked in dentistry for 16 years and has learned the ins and outs of handling insurance.
She is determined to make sure all of our patients receive the adequate benefits and is able to do so with little or no assistance from patients. Susan is looking forward to meeting you and the Round Rock community. On her off time you can find Susan shopping, working out or spending time with her family.
Born and raised in El Paso, Valeriegraduated from El Paso Community Collegesprestigiousdentalhygiene program in 2013 with her Associates of Science in Dental Hygiene. Valerie enjoys educating and encouraging patients through their dental journey. Her favorite part of her job is making sure everyone has the experience of great dental care and a great smile. Valerie loves building long-term patient relationships and treats everyone in the dental chair like family.Valerie is also fluent in Spanish!
Hope Mojica has been in dentistry for 17 years. She started assisting the doctors first, and even worked in the front office before becoming a hygienist. She resides in Hutto with her husband and 2 sons. They love staying active and being outdoors. Hope prides herself in being gentle and helping patients with their oral wellness visits and overall health goals.
Bivi, a registered dental assistant (RDA) was born and raised in Georgetown, TX! Bivi is a Registered Dental Assistant and is Radiology, Jurisprudence, Infection Control, Nitrous Oxide Monitoring, and CPR Certified.

First time at NuYu dental and it was great. Easy bookings, fast checkin and check out, friendly staff. Did a great job with cleaning and check up. Will be going back for sure!!!

Worst experience ever. Never again. Every since they got new employees it's been the worst place ever. Today alone, the doctor coughed in my face. Sure he had a mask on, but when I asked him to please not cough on my face, he didn't apologize, just got upset and stopped his evaluation of my teeth.

This dental practice used to be great a few years ago, but ever since the new ownership the quality of care has gone downhill. I also was just billed over $100 for dental care from 2021. First time seeing this bill and its Sept of 2022.... I only go to the dentist to get routine cleanings, and my insurance should cover this, so I'm not sure why I am even getting a bill. I have left numerous messages for Cassie to call me back, but I have not received a phone call back to discuss the billing issues. But, in the meantime, I keep getting email and text notices of my balance due but l literally have no way of responding to the email or text because It's "do not reply" email. Anyway, I'm trying to get this resolved but I cannot get this resolved if no one is responding to my requests.

The first thing I have to say is the front desk was the most unprofessional and rude I have ever experience, as a first-time patient recommended by my dental insurance provider will never come back to this place, I will contact our company insurance provider to get them out of there network, as a decision maker for my company I rater get other insurance provider if they are not doing anything about this matter, first thing they do is try to do unnecessary procedures to maximize what the charge to your dental insurance like unnecessary x ray, PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE YOU GO TO THIS PLACE

So sad what happened with Dr. Kim's practice when he moved. Reception, customer service, and patient care used to be top notch. I looked forward to my visit with the friendly and experienced group. I can't think of one good thing to say about the practice now.

I started going to Nuyu 8 years ago, when the founding Dentist was running the business and the service was great, however, ever since he sold the business a couple years ago, the service has gone south, and getting worse every year. Reception and Nurses have no clue what they're doing, and there's a lack of continuity on the Dentists as well, always someone new. I have stopped going to them and would not recommend them.

I have had my 15 month old daughter's appointment scheduled for a few weeks, to happen tomorrow, and I just received a call that they need to reschedule the appointment for several hours later. I would have tried for another day at a similar or earlier time but I was so fed up with their phone calls. Before today's phone call I received THREE others regarding my daughter's insurance information. NUYU's website will not allow you to enter a child's information if they are under 18. And because my member ID is different than hers, it was creating errors which initiated the phones calls for clarification. After: 1) clarifying the insurance information to 2 call reps on different days, that aren't even in Austin; 2) telling another rep yesterday that I would just go into the office to give them my daughter's insurance info; and 3) receiving the call today to move the appointment, NUYU is definitely not on our recommendation list...unless you like to spend your days on the phone giving insurance information and having to reorganize your schedule.

I will not be returning to this business, which is sad because the dentist is great. But the front staff and rude and got nasty with my daughter the other day and I will not continue to go to a business that does not know how to treat people.

Went in for emergency exam, staff was so comforting and was able to get procedure done same day. No pain whatsoever and Dr. C was so comforting throughout the whole procedure! Highly recommend. Going back for new patient exam and cleaning! Definitely would suggest this office to friends and family:

I have to say, I HATE going to the dentist but the Dr. Tarana here has made my visit as best at it could be for going to the dentist ha ha.She is very sweet, knowledgeable, and had smiles on their faces. Not to mention I literally have high anxiety, the dentist was very understanding, patient, and made my experience as comforting as she could. I've never had dentist through out my extraction procedure constantly ask me if I was doing OK, kept checking on how I was feeling during the process and kept being encouraging through out the process to make sure I felt comfortable, she was very mindful of my nerves when most dentist would probably have been irritated. I am in wow with Dr. Tarana <3

I really like Dr C, she is a talented Dr. She is patient and not pushy she tells you what she thinks and lets you decide if you agree, if not, she will discuss options, not just rush you out, I appreciate her chair side manner, and again, she is good at her craft. They have recently gone thru some staff turnover, but all of the assistants and hygienists have been qualified and pleasant, the most recent hygienist is top notch, I am sorry I don't recall her name but I sincerely hope she stays.

We have come here for many years on the recommendation of a colleague/friend and have been very pleased. They work really hard to make sure you are comfortable and have been amazing with my daughter as well. All of the staff, hygienists and dentists are excellent. The office staff are professional and kind. Valerie is especially helpful, understanding, patient and skilled if you have a child with a little anxiety (or if you have anxiety) - we really love her!
