My dental hygienist has been teaching me to fight plaque and today she found very little. My new dentist found a Crack in a tooth and took a picture to show me on a big screen. First time I could see it myself. Options and costs explained. Discount insurance honored. A good experience. Another routine checkup with upbeat staff and gentle care. Doctor came in to answer one of my concerns offering me options and a recommendation though she wasn't scheduled to see me. A very positive experience by someone normally very uncomfortable with dentists.

Dr Eva began as a dentist in Cuba and received her license here in Florida. She worked at Christie Dental Of Palm Bay before starting her own practice at the old Banyan Dental location. She is a qualified dentist and good at what she does, gentle and takes her time explaining things. Her staff and hygienists also top notch. The negativity with the practice is her physical office. The office is in a shopping mall next to an ice cream and battery store. The waiting room is small and usually warm. The patients rooms weird in the sense the are not completely private as they all have a common area. Problem is while you sitting there waiting you can clearly hear the conversation next door and the patients complaints, insurance and personal information. Maybe some music being played in the background would help and make it more relaxing. Also most rooms do not even have a sink you can rinse you mouth out when finished. The chairs are low quality. I been in many dental chairs and these are the budget type. Some arm rest swivels are broken and uncomfortable. The are hard to sit in and look closely you can some arm rests are torn. I guess just starting out the practice you start with little funds and get the basic equipment to just open or left overs from Banyan. She will be opening a new office sometime next year and I would imagine she will spend the money for top of line equipment and have nice private room with sinks. My other issue is with getting appointments. The business is growing and she has been getting booked up. There are no late night hoursand no weekends. Then you have you usual dental up sells (which most dentist will do these days) for fluoride treatments, mouth guards and Invisaline braces, crown replacements. Not a hard sell but expect it mentioned. Again she is an outstanding dentist and I am sure I will be updating this next year at her new office.

We are so happy and lucky to have found this dental office! When you're new to an area, changing doctors is always a bit stressful, but I'm so glad others posted such great reviews and that we chose Nuva. Dental Hygienist Laura is AMAZING, and extremely kind and attentive. Dr. Eva Napoles is a wealth of knowledge and a very warm-hearted individual too. If you need a new Dentist, please look no further and book an appt at Nuva. We waited about two months for new patient appts, and it was 100% worth it.

Developed severe dental and jaw pain just a few days before Hurricane Ian. Called for emergency help and Dr Napoles responded with great compassion and incredible medical support and help. Treatment on-going, but relief has been a great blessing!
