Dr. Ryan earned his dental degree from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. He then attended Emory University School of Medicine where he obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree. While attending Emory, he had the privilege of completing a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with the internationally renowned Steven Roser, DMD, MD. Dr. Ryan then completed his internship in General Surgery.
Dr. Ryan moved to Colorado with his wife and now has three boys. He opened his practice, Mountain Oral Surgery and Dental Implant Center in 2013 and continues to serve the community by offering his services to Arvada and all surrounding neighborhoods.
Dr. Ryan maintains staff privileges at St. Anthonys hospital. He continues to focus on his education regularly and has most recently attended courses in ridge splitting procedures and placement of zygoma implants. Such courses allow Dr. Ryan to remain at the forefront of his field, offering the latest procedures and technology to his patients.
Dr. Ryan is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, American Medical Association, Colorado Dental Association and the Metro Denver Dental Association.
Dr. Ryan acquired NuSet Dental Implant Centers at the beginning of 2021. His superb skills and education are matched by his commitment to NuSet Dental Implants and Oral Surgerys philosophy of not only understanding the needs of his patients, but exceeding their expectations by improving their oral health, self confidence and quality of life.
Dr. Arne Hoffmann was born in Bad Harzburg, Germany. Arne finished a 3 1/2-year apprenticeship as a CDT in Northeim/Hanover, Germany, then earned his DDS equivalent in 2005 in Goettingen, Germany, and completed a 3-year residency in periodontics while still in Germany. Arne also participated in a scientific study in cancer treatment, earning his PhD in 2008 with summa cum laude. He then worked in a community office as a Perio-prosthodontist in Northeim, Germany.
In 2012, Dr. Hoffmann moved to Denver and became the Clinical Director for NDX Perry & Young. He also became a CDA and a CDT in the United States. As a clinical consultant for hundreds of dentists and at the laboratory, his main focuses are on simplifying complex treatments and utilizing the newest technologies to make dental teams comfortable with new and comprehensive procedures. The majority of his treatment plans were on implant restoration.
Working with hundreds of dentists chair-side and guiding them through treatments, Arne is a unique teacher in implant education. Dr. Hoffmanns role will be supporting Dr. Ryan and the referring dentists clinical treatment plan from a prosthetic standpoint for the patients ideal outcome. Arnes close communication with the restorative dentist during Dr. Ryans portion of treatment and after, support the mission of NuSet Dental Implants and Oral Surgery; which is providing the best experience for patients, referring practices and all of our affiliated healthcare professionals by delivering the highest quality of care in a comfortable, safe and caring environment.

All staff was super friendly. I went in for wisdom teeth removal. After rescheduling about 3 times due to COVID and family death. They were all still so helpful. Process went fast and quick! I highly recommend!

OMG I LOVE THIS PLACE THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST MOST IMPORTANT DECISIONS IVE MADE AND THESE GUYS ARE AMAZING WORTH EVERY PENNY !! They have this science or art or whatever you call it down !! 100 percent recommend!! Thanks to piper for really helping me figure out finances and special thanks to these amazing doctors they are so talented and skilled ....the nurses of course as well !! Im so pleased with this and I'm not even done yet!! Just had surgery 6 days ago but so far I'm extremely happy and love that this was an option!! So highly recommend I'll be back with photos!!

Amazing!!! I want to say I walked into this place and the staff is SUPER friendly and very Professional, Especially Piper Weston. I walked in with a dilemma and because of my unique Situation they where not able to take care of it .with my concerns,Piper took extra time to listen and give me a referral to someone who can help. I went to my appointment feeling a bit disapointed. Then, BAM!!!! PROBLEM SOLVED! It's good to know that there is still people out there that are caring,willing to listen and be very compassionate to one's feeling. A True asset to the company...Thank you Piper!!

I'm completely satisfied with Dr. Ryan and his crew. I came from bad work done by Dr. Ruvins from Nu-set. I had to get all new implants which was a success and opted to get permanent dentures to avoid all the hassles of all the pain an suffering I had endured. I highly recommend Dr. Ryan for all implant needs. He's the bomb. Very knowledgeable and very kind. I can also say the same thing for his associate Dr. Hoffman.

Great office, easy to schedule an appointment. Have had friends and family visit and receive treatment here. Very busy office but take the time to make you feel important. Dr. answered all of my questions, dental assistant called to check on me and my follow up care has been amazing. I highly recommend this office.

I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Ryan, Dr Hoffman and the entire staff. Due to not having proper dental care as a child and spending a fortune on fillings root canals, bridges and crowns my teeth still ended up failing! My crowns were loose and even falling out. Going without teeth was not an option for me. After getting multiple opinions, I decided Dr. Ryan was definitely the right choice for my needs and doing so is one of the best decisions of my life. I started out with all on four implants on top with a snap in over denture on the bottom because I was trying to cut costs and let me tell you, when it comes to your teeth, put your money where your mouth is. I could not deal with the denture and decided to go with all in four implants on the bottom as well. I was quoted a price fir everything and was never charged a penny more despite ongoing problems with healing, bone loss numerous unexpected appointments which were of no fault of Dr. Ryan's! When you struggle with a lifetime of dental problems and make the decision to to go with all on four implants, it's imperative to choose a doctor that stands behind his work and Dr. Ryan is definitely upstanding in the most genuine way. I was so nervous in the beginning and embarrassed about my situation and from the time of my initial appointment until the final day of treatment, I was made to feel so comfortable at each and every visit, from every employee at Mountain Oral Surgery And Dental Implant Center. Your not just a chart or a number everyone knows you by name and makes you feel like part of the family. Before your finished with your treatment Dr. Ryan is wonderful about referring you to a regular dentist that specializes in cleanings an care of the investment you've made. Do yourself a favor... don't make a decision until you've met Dr. Ryan and his staff!!!

I recently went to Mountain Oral Surgery for a consultation regarding an extraction and implant. The office is beautiful and I was greeted warmly by the front desk staff. Dr Ryan and his assistant Nancy answered all my questions and gave me a clear idea of what to expect. I have since completed my extraction and bone graph without any problems and I am looking forward to getting my implant. Dr Ryan and his staff have been wonderful and I have complete confidence in them. Thank you

MOS (Mountain Oral Surgery) deserves a five star rating from me! The front end staff made sure I was aware of my appointment, time, place and if I needed transportation. On the day of the extraction, nurse Tia was assigned to me and made me feel relaxed and so comfortable. She explained the entire process, answered all my questions and concerns. When Doctor Ryan began he made sure that I understood everything that was about to happen and was I good with it ... we began. Since the tooth being extracted was right next too a tooth with a crown, Doctor Ryan was very careful not to damage or knock that crown off. Once I was numb enough he began, it took less than 15 second and the tooth was out!!! I was amazed! Tia and Dr. Ryan said "that tooth was ready to come out!" ... all I know is, push, pull, lift and the tooth was out. I thanked Dr. Ryan, we bumped elbows and he mentioned that if I started to have problems during the next five days, call the office, come in and we will look at what's going on, I don't anticipate any but just in case. Tia followed up with the post-op instructions. That was on November 20, it is now November 24 and I am recovering nicely. If you or your family need oral surgery I highly recommend Dr. Ryan and his staff.

Mountain Oral Surgery was and is amazing! I have teeth that, due to trauma, were damaged but have been hanging in there for the past 10+ years. I have regularly been checking in every few years with Dr. Ryan to evaluate their status and all had been good up until about last week. Now all of a sudden the teeth have decided to fail! This is the worst timing since I now switched to my own insurance within the last month, it's the end of the year and scheduling can be hard between COVID and the holidays, and I'm getting married in four months (so I would prefer to have teeth for that). I first went to Clear Choice, only because they got me in to a consultation sooner than MOS could, not because they were preferred. The costs, timeline, method, everything was outrageous and I was in tears! I then went to my consultation with Dr. Ryan, And their approach made more sense, their timeline was so much better, and their cost was comparable. Not only that, but they did more than just take images and look at those for evaluation. They took x-rays, images, scans, physically evaluated the teeth, AND collaborated with my other doctor(s) all in the same day. They were even able to do their best accommodating my insurance timeline, and schedule me right away. The staff was so informative and friendly and answered all my questions about the procedure, the process, the timeline, the costs, financing, insurance, you name it! I could not be happier today given the situation I find myself in. Would give them 1000 stars if I could, but apparently I'm limited to 5. Either way, would highly recommend!!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Ryan and his staff. I was incredibly nervous to have my wisdom teeth out as I've never had a surgical procedure before and don't do well with pain and needles. At my consultation, Tia was the surgical assistant who did my X-rays and explained to me the procedure and she was fantastic. Dr. Ryan did a phenomenal job of walking me through the procedure, the healing process, and aftercare which helped ease my nerves. On the day of surgery, the surgical assistants who set up my IV and everything else were amazing. They did a fantastic job of walking me through everything and placing my IV pretty painlessly. All the assistants and Dr. Ryan were incredibly kind and attentive before I went under which made this process so much easier . Healing afterwards has been so easy and I am experiencing minimal bruising, swelling and pain. This is by far the most professional, clean, and kind practice out there.

I was impressed by the staff at this facility for my wisdom teeth removal. They seemed to be progressive and fact based, I felt safe and that they used up to date technology. Where they REALLY shined for me was their staff, specifically Rhianna (I believe that was her name). Rhianna clearly knew what she was doing and was experienced, but not in the way where she did things without thinking or too quickly. She took her time, educated me on all the steps, and didn't miss a beat. Obviously the way health care works right now there wasn't a lot of time with the doctor, but this facility makes up for that by having well educated and caring staff who rock!

I am not a person who gives out 5 stars. I believe everyone has room for improvement. Dr. Ryan and the staff at Mountain Oral Surgery work like a well oiled machine. I have to see many doctors on a regular basis and by far they are at the top of my list. They are kind, knowledgeable, empathetic and timely. Not once have I experienced having to wait for a long period of time. Not once did I feel like I was just another pay check. Not once did I feel unimportant. Rhianna took care of me as if I were her family sitting in that chair. Thank you.
