Dr. Jumani was born and raised in India. From an early age, he was inspired to become a dentist through summer jobs at his general dentist and orthodontists office. He would fill out charts and help with odd jobs to make some pocket money. Over the years, he had the opportunity to get to know some of the dentists very well and loved the impact they had on patients lives.
While living in India, Dr. Jumani obtained his dental degree and practiced dentistry for two years there. He then came to the U.S. in order to attain a Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. Upon graduation, he became an Associate Faculty in the Department of International Health, working for the Institute for Vaccine Safety.
Given his love for clinical dentistry, Dr. Jumani chose to go back to dental school and attended the University of Washington to obtain his DDS. Later on, he followed his resolve to earn his MSD in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Washington.
For him, the best part of his profession is to have the pleasure of treating little kids and watching them grow, evolve, and mature over time. He truly enjoys creating a bond with his patients and their families.

Dr. Ketan Jumani has pursued two additional years of dental education to qualify as a board-certified pediatric dentist. As a childrens dentist, he is able to provide the ideal care for infants, adolescents, teenagers, and patients with special needs.
Our Sammamish office is purpose-built to provide the highest level of pediatric dental care. Meeting kids at their stage of life allows us to develop long-lasting relationships and show them that dentistry can be fun and beneficial. We genuinely treat them as we would our own families.

I have worked in dentistry for the last 30 years. It has been my pleasure to work alongside Dr. Jumani for the last two. His mastery of dentistry can only be matched by his warmth and compassion. Children love him as do their parents. He is a rare gem!

We had tried to get fillings for my 6 year old for the past two years, but he panicked every time. We were at the point of doing general anesthesia when we decided to give Nurture Kids Dentistry a try. It was such a welcoming environment and the staff was great when he had a meltdown. They were sympathetic and gave him space to work through it, so he was able to regain calmness and finish his filling for the first time in two years! He just had a bigger filling done recently with a crown, and he had no problem getting through it. We are so grateful to have found Dr. Jumani and Nurture Kids Dentistry and to have my son's smile and confidence restored!

Great experience! Everyone was very friendly, easy to schedule and the office is so nice and kid friendly. My 5 year old was very nervous but after our first visit he said he loved it so much that he wants to be a dentist when he grows up.

Dr Jumani was fantastic! He instantly made us feel at ease and was super welcoming and friendly. He quickly found a small chip in my daughter's tooth and walked us through the proper care and what we could expect in terms of future care of the tooth. The office atmosphere was very calm and clean and relaxed, and my daughter had such a fast and easy exam that we were done before we knew it. Having a positive experience at the dentist is so important for a parent, and I was completely thrilled with how well things went! My daughter has no reservations about her next appointment at all. I'm so glad to have found such a fantastic dentist!

What a great and friendly office. We have been going for about 3 years now and recommend this crew for all kids. They have done wonders for helping keep my kids teeth in top shape. Plus you get a toy when you leave.

My kids love coming to see Dr. Jumani and his staff. They are always patient and very nice to my kids. Dr. Jumani always explais with great detail what needs to be done and answers my questions.

Dr Jumani is a fantastic pediatric dentist. My kids, 9 and 7, have been seeing him for a couple of years. During the height of the pandemic, our kids developed several cavities and each had to have their first ever fillings. Dr Jumani was very gentle and did a fantastic job communicating what he needed to do with the kids. As a bonus, he's got cartoons for them to watch while he works and a prize vending machine for after their visit, so they're always excited to go.

I wish we could get treated this well as adults! Staff and dentist were so friendly, welcoming and professional. All of our questions were answered. We weren't scolded for anything. Our daughter got a balloon and toy for her participation. Very kid friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend Update: July 2022 We still love Nuture Kids! I recommend this place to all new moms I meet in the Sammamish/Issy area. The staff is amazing and patient. Dr. Jumani is knowledgeable and so good with my child. Once our newest is old enough, she'll be joining her big sis at Nurture.
