Dr. Bob Nudera grew up in Aurora and attended high school at Marmion Academy. His formal education began atCreighton Universityin Omaha, NE for his undergraduate degree. He continued on to theUniversity of Illinois Chicagofor his dental training, earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. Nudera completed his General Practice Residency atLoyola University Medical Centerin Maywood, IL before returning to the University of Illinois Chicago for his orthodontic training and Master of Science degree. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Nudera is involved in various continuing education programs, ranging from Damon and Invisalign programs to AAO lectures and local dental study clubs. His many hours of continuing education keeps him up-to-date with the most current treatment techniques, modalities, and technologies in the fields of not only orthodontics but also in dentistry as a whole.
Dr. Nudera currently lives in Northbrook, IL with his wife, Lina, and their two sons; R.J. and Luke. When hes not at work, Dr. Nudera enjoys spending as much time with his family as possible, especially doing outdoor activities such as running, biking, and skiing. In the evenings, he can also be found lost in a good book.
Dr. Jim Nudera grew up in Aurora and attended high school at Marmion Academy. His formal education began at theUniversity of Illinois Champaign-Urbanawhere he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He continued on to dental school, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Dentistry from theUniversity of Illinois Chicago, as well as his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. While still at the University of Illinois Chicago, Dr. Nudera completed his orthodontic training and Masters degree in Oral Science. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics.
In order to stay up-to-date on current techniques and be aware of future advances in both product development and future orthodontic techniques, Dr. Nudera continues his education through courses in Invisalign and the Damon System, as well as through participation in local study clubs. This gives him the opportunity to collaborate on current cases and future treatments in all facets of the dental and orthodontic fields.
Dr. Nudera currently resides in St. Charles, about five minutes from our South Elgin office location, with his wife, Kim, and two daughters, Kaitlyn and Kelsey. His leisure time is spent with his family, though he does enjoy a round or two of golf!
