Dr. Gizachew (called Dr. G by his patients) works hard to create life-changing experiences in the hopes of bettering his community one patient at a time. He strongly believes that a thorough look can help arm people with the tools needed to practice proper oral healthcare at home, which is why he often spends upwards of two hours with new arrivals. Dr. G recognized the need for hyper-focused oral healthcare long before he ever attended dental school. In fact, this passion started at a young age! When he was just 13 years old, he wasnt able to find the right dentist for his unique needs, even after multiple visits to multiple dental offices. This led to him becoming genuinely fascinated with the career, even though his professional path didnt lead to it just yet. Instead, he became enthralled with scientific research (particularly regarding skin cancer) and even taught at a university for a few years. The seed of interest had already been planted, though, and before long, he was enrolling in an elite dental program. The rest is history.
Dr. G pursued his dental doctorate at New York University, where he was introduced to the new way in dentistry. His mentor told him that the future was dental implants, and he took that advice seriously. Following graduation, he completed two years of state-of-the-art dental implant training at Rutgers University, as well as residencies at Bellevue, Gouverneur, NYU, and Coler-Goldwater hospitals. He found himself accepting a position as a clinical director, which involved training others in implants and cosmetic dentistry but eventually, he realized that the only way to provide the high level of care he believed in was to open his very own dental office. The doors of his first building opened in 2018 and today, he has three separate dental offices, with a fourth opening in late 2020!
Today, Dr. G has nabbed Top Dentist awards in New Jersey and New York many years in a row, and currently logs almost 300 hours of continuing education each year. Science is moving fast these days, and he believes in always working on his professional development through trainings, medical journals, and other avenues. This commitment is reflected in his dental office's revolutionary technology, including a soft tissue diode laser, digital impressions, and much more. In recent years, hes studied BOTOX, dermal fillers, PDO thread lifts, and TMJ/orofacial pain trigger point injections through the American Academy of Facial Aesthetics. Kelly has been working in the dental field for nearly five years so far. She has her Bachelors in Human Resource Management and is currently working towards her Bachelors in Business. As our dedicated dental office manager, she really enjoys reviewing treatment plans with patients one-on-one. Dental care can be a very daunting and scary thing for some people, and being able to help them feel at ease while receiving care always puts a huge smile on her face!
At home, Kelly has two dogs who are just like her kids. Outside of work, she is a CrossFit coach and very passionate about fitness. She also did karate for 13 years. Other favorite hobbies include doing mud runs, participating in all kinds of outdoor physical activities, and volunteering at a dog shelter.
Shannon studied at Monmouth County Vocational School and is a Certified/Registered Dental Assistant. Today, shes been working in dentistry for nearly 15 years so far. She really enjoys getting to know our patients, helping them feel at ease, and changing their smiles for the better so they can walk out the door happy.
Outside of the dental office, Katie enjoys fostering cats and dogs for adoption; she even has her own two rescue kitties named Stella and Casey. Shes also passionate about restoring vintage furniture.
Outside of dentistry, Crystal served for eight years in the Navy and has traveled all over the world, including Egypt, Paris, Germany, Italy, and the Caribbean. She also has her cosmetology and lash extension license. When she isnt busy at work, she enjoys paranormal investigating.

I had an extremely bad cracked tooth, right down to the nerve, and I try to avoid the dentists as much as Humanly Possible, but they were Fantastic with me! Although I did cry and writhe my way through an incredibly painful root canal, the Doc was fast and worked through my crying to get me out of that chair( and pain) as quickly as possible. I'll forever be grateful to the Crew of Brick Nu Dental

Amazing staff , I've Had great experiences coming here already 3 times . Dr. Mustafa Is amazing and always makes sure all your questions are answered so you don't have any doubts or concerns leaving the office ,also the wonderful dental assistant there that made me feel welcomed every time ! , will definitely go back again when I'm up for cleanings . Id recommend this Dentist office in a heartbeat!

Had an 7pm apt rushing in traffic for my daughter and I got there and I was in the waiting room for an hour and no one came out to sign us in no one came to say they were running late I could clearly hear they had patients in the back but ignored the rest of their visits very very unprofessional horrible first impression will never come back

From the moment I walked in the office, I could tell I was in good hands from the office staff, the dental assistant, and Dr Schwartz. Everyone was so friendly and I can tell they really cared. The Dr made sure I was comfortable. My treatment was painless. During the process of my treatment, they explained what they were going to do. Constantly asked me if I was ok. I would recommend them to anyone.

Walked in not haven't been to the dentist in a while.. the front office made me feel right at home! First time patient and got excellent care.. Dental Hygienist Kristina provided me with a awesome cleaning and X-ray service .. she worked super hard to provide my teeth with the best care they could get .. she's very passionate about her job and will get your teeth were they need to be.. She knocked it out of the ball park and my teeth came out looking brand new ! Dr. Mustafa is very nice as well and guides you in the right direction with any questions and concerns.. great experience and recommend this dental team!

It was my first time visit and I am glad that choose that office . Christina was incredible .she did my cleaning and didi a great job . Doctor was super nice and very Profecional . The entire staff is absolutely amazing! I'm super anxious when it comes to the dentist, but Dr. G and the rest of the team make you feel as comfortable as possible! Highly recommended if you are looking for a painless, anxious free office :)

Believe what you read! This is the perfect place for people, like me, who hate going to the dentist. I also don't like the medicinal smell that some ofices have. The air at Brick dental is odorless. Crystal, the dental hygienist, is exceptional. My family and I had a lot of build up on our teeth due to our missed bi-annual appointments because of COVID-19. We were all so impressed with how clean Crystal managed to get our teeth. I wish I had a before and after picture depicting the drastic improvement. As if Crystal isn't enough reason to visit Brick dental, Dr. G is the cherry on the top. He so gental, listens well, and is patient to answer your questions.

I've always been someone who dislikes the dentist but Dr. G has changed that! He is incredibly understanding and is as gentle as one can be. I started the NU SMILE clear aligners and they are so great. Super easy to use and not painful or uncomfortable. I'm not self conscious about wearing them out or anything. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love Brick Dental Care. I would always dread going to the dentist before not at this place. Staff is top notch and Dr. G is the best, Ive gotten all my wisdom teeth taken out as well as fillings by him never had a problem. Honestly the best dentist I've ever had.

I called for an appointment for my 87 year old mother who had a broken tooth. They scheduled her for next day. Dr. G. took the tooth out gently and quickly and we were in and out in an hour. Mom couldn't believe it was over so fast and no stitches! Thanks to Dr. G. And all the office employees who were so nice and efficient!
