Dr. Nowlin is a graduate of Auburn University and the University of Tennessee College of Denistry. After graduation in 1979, Dr. Nowlin worked in Chattanooga with the State of Tennessee Public Health Service. Dr. Nowlin opened his Columbia practice in 1980. He is very involved with his family, community, and church. He has coached various soccer, basketball, and baseball teams. He has served as a member of the Kiwanis Club, the United Way Committee, the Zion Christian Academy School Board, and has been President of the American Red Cross. He is an active member of the First Baptist Church of Columbia.

NOT PAYING!! $374.00 NTI. Not the traditional night guard I was expecting. NO TREATMENT PLAN - no discussion of cost - no discussion of how to care for this or cons such as choking hazards . Cannot sleep with it at night or use during day. They made it sound like insurance would pay for this when I checked out at the desk.. they kept it silent . then later find out I owe $374. Which I would never have agreed to, when a traditional night guard cost approx $150. I do not want anyone taken ...

Been a miserable past month that it seems like they could care less about. Learned a lesson to never go back. Don't expect them to help work around your work schedule. Won't go into detail any farther. Big piece of bone I had to literally remove myself and still fighting with it.

Have been going to Dr Nowlin for 10 plus years. I have bad anxiety about going to the dentist. I trust Dr. Steve to take care of my dental needs. Great staff to work with.

Im being sincere when i write this. I went to this dentist and i told them i just wanted a free cleaning with my insurance. At the end of my cleaning they said "Ok! We just have to take your z-rays now and your good to go." So i do what im told and then they send a bill to a collection agency without ever sending me a bill! For $130 dollars! When i called about this they said that the x-rays were not part of insurance but i had to do it in orser to get my teeth cleaned. They told me this after they sent a bill to the collecction agency!..... They cleaned my teeth before any X-rays! They didnt need them! I hate this dentist with all my heart! My friends experienced their own issues woth them also. Why would a dentist do this? Does he even know a out this?
