Dr. Ryan Nowlin, a native of Tulsa, is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. He earned his Master of Science degree (MS) in Orthodontics from the University of Oklahoma, where he had previously received both his Bachelor and Dental (DDS) degrees. Among other achievements, Dr. Nowlin has been recognized for his research and was presented the Award of Excellence for the study of the craniofacial complex by the American Association of Orthodontists. He is highly involved in continuing education and was president of the Oklahoma Orthodontics Society.
Dr. Van Nowlin graduated from Oklahoma State University. He received his dental degree (DDS) and orthodontic degree (MSD) from Baylor College of Dentistry. After completing his education, he and his wife, Janice, moved back home to Tulsa. Dr. Nowlin is a past president of the Oklahoma Society of Orthodontists and he enjoys being a Clinical Professor in the Graduate Orthodontic Department at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry.

Our daughter is about a year into her brace journey with Nowlin and they have been amazing. The staff is friendly the moment you walk in. We had to switch insurance in the middle of treatment and they guided us through that and made sure everything stayed the same payment place we had selected in the beginning. Definitely would recommend.

We love Dr. Nowlin and his assistants! They are professional, friendly, and I love how involved they are with the community! Dr. Nowlin gives great advice and gives a great explanation of the plan for a better smile.

Nowlin has been a great experience for our first time with braces. All the staff are incredibly friendly & helpful. Dr. Ryan does an excellent job at explaining what the process is & what needs to happen to correct our daughters teeth. Can't say enough good things about Nowlin!

Dr. Nowlin and his team were great all the way around. The front office staff was welcoming from the first call to their office to when we walked in the door. The treatment coordinator, Stacey, was efficient with our consult, clear presentation of the treatment needs and was just super fun with my kids during the entire process. I work in dentistry and have seen so many of Dr. Nowlin's cases over the last 15 years, they consistently turn out with excellent results. I knew when it was time for my own kid's to have braces that Dr. Nowlin is who I would trust with their care.
