Maxim Victor Skormin, DDS is a dentist with over 20 years of experience. While studying at the Polytechnic Institute in Almaty, Kazakhstan, USSR, he studied electrical engineering and biological and chemical science at Broome Community College in Binghamton, New York. He earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the School of Dental Medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1995. With 20 years of experience practicing every aspect of general and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Skormin has treated over 15,000 patients for everything from cosmetic crowns and bridges to dental implants and Invisalign braces.
From the NOVA School of Dental Medicine in Florida, Dr. Skormin has received advanced training in implant placement and site development. Furthermore, he has been trained in mini-implants by Dr. Todd Shatkin at the Mini Implant Center of America in Amherst, New York. A member of the American Dental Association, he is a certified provider of Invisalign and Lumineers.

I really enjoyed my experience at Now Dental. I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Skormin and everything went great! From the start of the procedure, Dr. Skormin was professional, honest, and meticulous. He made sure every detail of my procedure was explained thoroughly. I felt safe and well taken care of. All of the staff at Now Dental have been so kind and helpful! I definitely recommend this place!!!

I've been going to Now Dental because they are friendly and reasonable. The new location for Now Dental is excellent. The space is inviting, super comfy and classy! The staff at Now Dental is welcoming and engaging, and makes a genuine effort to put you at ease. I don't feel like this dental practice tries to sell me unnecessary dental work I don't actually need. I appreciate efforts of Dr. Skormin and his staff to make dental visits as relaxing and pleasant as possible.

My husband was in need of some major dental work. I have been referred to Dr. Skormin at Now Dental by a good friend. Dr. Skormin a seasoned dentist and an expert in multiple dental procedures. My husband needed 1 implant and 2 crowns. From the start, our experience at Now Dental was exceptional. Dr. Skormin walked us through the procedure. He was straight to the point. The office staff was kind and professional and focused on excellent patient care. After the procedure, my husband had no pain. I researched dental implants for loose teeth and found that Now Dental is performing that procedure. A week later, I came in to Now Dental to meet with Dr. Skormin for a consultation and to take x-rays to have an overview on dental implants. Dr. Skormin reviewed the x-rays and said that implants are an option for the loose teeth that I have. I decided to proceed with implants at Now Dental. In two weeks, Dr. Skormin completed the dental implants for my upper teeth. After 24 hours post-op of a three implant surgery and I have no bruising, no swelling, and no pain! In my opinion, Dr. Skormin went above and beyond. If you are considering implants, visit Now Dental for a consultation.

Now Dental is the best place to get dental implants and dentures in the Clear Lake area. In my fifties my teeth were bad since taking care of them was not my first priority and they eventually began falling out. After doing some research, I realized that dental implants are the optimal solution. Dental implants will replace my missing teeth. I set out on my mission to get this procedure done and decided that Dr. Skormin was my best choice. I am brand new person since the dental surgery. The final outcome was amazing! I got my confidence back after years of walking around without teeth.

After visiting Now Dental for an initial consultation, Dr. Skormin recommended that I get cosmetic crowns for my teeth. After the procedure my teeth were hurting a little for a few days, but I am very happy that I decided to go with cosmetic crowns now! The location of the Now Dental office is easy to find. The facility is clean and the staff is friendly and kind. The lady who answers the phone is very sweet and personable. Now Dental recently moved to a new location and I love it!
