Dr. Ely is a graduate of the University of Michigan Dental School 1997, one of the best in the country. She has been a dentist forover 20 years and has been through several post graduate courses in different fields of dentistry since receiving her DDS degree. Dr. Ely is a Diplomate of The American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, Diplomate of the American Sleep and Breathing Academy, Member of the American Dental Association, and Member of the Michigan Dental Association.
Her emphasis on patient comfort as well as keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry enable her to provide her patients with the best quality of care in the field. Dr. Ely has a wide range of experience in different areas of dentistry, from cosmetic and restorative dentistry to Invisalign, and root canal treatments.

I have been going to Dr. Ely for a few years. I've had my teeth cleaned maybe a hundred times in my life and am very familiar with a good or bad job. I got a new hygienist there and she cleaned my teeth twice, doing one of the laziest, worst jobs I've had. She spent less than 20 minutes actually working on me and didn't even touch every tooth. Then Dr. Ely is inspecting and approving her work. After these two sub-par cleanings, they said I needed a "deep" cleaning and I was charged over $400 for a procedure that was nothing more than what a "normal" cleaning should be. I have found a new dentist in the Novi area and my first visit today was extremely satisfying.

Great dentist. The staff is always pleasant and informative, Dr. Ely is very thorough and knowledgeable, takes time with you and always on time. They always sent out reminder texts which I love.

Everyone in the office was wonderful! This was my first visit. I felt instantly comfortable and actually look forward to having the rest of my dental work done here with Dr. Ely. My feelings after third visit. Outstanding. Highly recommend. Friendly and professional care. The facility is modern, organized and spotless. The front desk staff was very nice. The nurse and Dr. Shepherd both actively listened to my concerns and questions honestly and fixed my dental concerns to my satisfaction. I feel like I am in great hands for all my dental issues.

This was a great consultation. Everyone was friendly and Dr. Ely was awesome. She explained everything as well as her dental assistants. I was very comfortable with my decision to go ahead with the sleep apnea device.
