Dr. Benjamin Robinson was drawn to dentistry, and the pediatric dental specialty, due to the personal connections and service opportunities inherent in oral healthcare. He treasures his patients energy and honesty, and loves helping fearful children overcome their dental anxiety and learn to trust him.
Providing patients with the highest level of dentistry, based on the most up-to-date scientific literature available, is Dr. Robinsons aim. He is dedicated to constant learning, expanding his knowledge and skills, always seeking new means of providing efficient and comfortable care to his patients.

Dr. Robinson grew up in Menlo Park and returned to the Bay Area after completing his pediatric dental residency in 2018. Time with his wonderful wife, Meridian, and their three energetic sons, keeps him busy when hes not in the office. He especially enjoys his time in nature, from the beach to the woods to the local park: if hes outdoors and with loved ones, Dr. Robinson is happy.
A healthy body includes a healthy mouth! Prevention is a huge part of my philosophy and I enjoy educating parents and patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and nutritional counseling to help prevent cavities before they start. I have so many positive experiences from going to the dentist as a child and I hope to create positive experiences for my patients and their families. It is so gratifying to be able to work with children and make their dental visits a fun and exciting experience.
Dr. Joanna Meekay was always interested in working in health care because she loves helping people and was drawn to science in school. She was encouraged to go into dentistry by her siblings who are also in the field. She absolutely loves working with both the little ones and their families to help promote a positive life long relationship with the dentist.
Dr. Meekay attended the University of California, Davis, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology, Physiology & Behavior. She then attended the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni, School of Dentistry where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery(DDS). Upon completion of her DDS, she completed a one year General Practice Residency in Brooklyn, New York. After one cold winter on the east coast she came running back to the Bay area where she was awarded her Masters of Science in Craniofacial Sciences and her Advanced Education certificate in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).
Dr. Meekay enjoys providing patients with the knowledge to improve and maintain a healthy mouth! Dr. Meekay is constantly learning and implementing new up-to-date procedures and techniques. She is also involved in organized dentistry, and finds it important to stay active in dental societies to best advocate for her patients and community. She currently sits on two committees with the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry (CSPD).
Dr. Joanna is a Northern California native and comes from a large Armenian household. She loves to take her mini poodle, Daphne, on walks in her neighborhood in San Francisco, catch up on podcasts, and play tennis. When she isn't trying new restaurants with friends in the city, you can find her playing hide-and-go seek with her 5 nieces and nephews!

Ours is one of the few practices in the region that offers three levels of safe sedation nitrous oxide (laughing gas), and oral conscious and deep IV for patient comfort and optimal outcomes!
