Traditional hand-pieces or drills can be noisy and uncomfortable. Our office uses electric hand-pieces for restorative dental procedures. Electric handpieces offer less vibration and noise but more precision. This tool is used for dental crowns and veneers to prepare the tooth enamel for treatment.
Dr. Salari uses digital imaging to closely examine the tooth roots and nerves as well as find areas of damage or infection. Our digital x-rays offer accurate diagnoses and less radiation than traditional x-rays. Digital imaging also allows us to store patient images and send them to specialists or insurance companies.
Dental lasers use light and heat to target the tooth enamel, areas of decay, infected gum tissue, and whitening agents. Laser dentistry can be used for tooth and soft tissue related procedures without the need for local anesthesia. Dental lasers make procedures comfortable and do not require needles or drills.
An intraoral camera is a small camera that allows us to view clear, precise images of your mouth, teeth, and gums. Using these clear images, we are better able to diagnose dental problems. Intraoral cameras can also be saved for your dental records and shared when we refer you for specialty care. We also use these small cameras to help educate patients about their oral health and the best ways to prevent oral health problems.
The Ray Medical CBCT system allows Dr. Salari to diagnose problems in the teeth and jaw. This imaging creates accurate, three-dimensional (3D) images of the teeth, gums, and nerves. With CBCT scans, Dr. Salari can diagnose TMJ problems and find the best areas for inserting dental implants.
Dr. Salari graduated from the Universit Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium), in 2003. Upon completing her dental degree, Dr. Salari pursued a Prosthodontics residency for the first time in Europe. During that time, she also combined her residency with a post-graduate specialty in TMJ disorders at the Universit Lille 2 (France), where she treated patients with more complicated cases with full mouth reconstruction and TMJ disorders. I always love coming here Staff is always friendly and I can just relax while they work on my mouth. Had to get 6 fillings in the summer and they made it a smooth process. Next year will be the wisdom teeth removal! I generally have good experiences with dentists in the past, but this office especially are always on point. As long as I'm in nova, I'll be coming here lol

Post COVID I wanted to move away from another big industrial complex assembly line Dental practice in area. Dr. Marjan is compassionate and highly skilled. If you don't flinch on numbing shots, it's a proof you are in safe and gentle hands. A doctor that truly cares about her patients, explains the treatment plan and answers all questions. Staff is super friendly too. I am so glad I found her and will gladly recommend her to others.

Was looking for a wisdom tooth extraction and was not comfortable to have this done by a general dentist , called several oral surgeons in my area and they all required the sedation which did not want done either, so started looking for a prosthodontist and contacted Dr. Salari, she was able to extract my wisdom tooth within 10 minutes without the sedation, any pain or breaking the tooth, extremely happy with the results, thank you so much!

I would recommend Nova Smile Dental to all of my friends and family! I have dental anxiety and haven't been in a few years so I was very nervous about my first appointment. My process is not even complet yet and I'm giving ," props", to Nova Smile Dental.to be honest with the readers I was very impressed with ( and it takes alot to impress this 62 year old) Familey Fox Dentistry for the great job of extracting a complicated tooth until last week.There is a new oral- sheriff,dentist if you will, taking fox dentistrys place.And that Oral astablishment is called,Nova Smile Dental.It toke them about the same time it toke( give or take a minute or two)fox denistry to extract one tooth to extract 18 teeth.They we're fast,polite,concerned and conciderate of my well being at all times.I can't wait to go back for my follow up.I sincerely thank you,Nova Smile Dental!.
