Dr. Peterson Huang is aDualBoard Certified Prosthodontist. He grew up in Vancouver, Canada where hereceived hisBachelor in Science degree in Integrated Sciences and a Minor in Music from the University of British Columbia. After obtaining hisdental degree from Case Western Reserve University in Ohio, School of Dental Medicine, hereceived hisCertificate of Specialist in Prosthodontics and a Master of Science from the University of Maryland, where he is a Clinical Assistant Professor on the Deans Faculty. Dr. Huang has publications in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, From childhood to adulthood: Oral Rehabilitation of a Patient with Ectodermal Dysplasia and The Effect of Various Disinfectants on Dental Shade Guides (2014).
Heisa Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, a Fellowof the American College of Prosthodontists (FACP), a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (FRCDC) and a member of the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics. Dr. Huang is also a staff member in the Department of Surgery, INOVA Fairfax Hospital and is a member of the Tumor Board there.
When not in the office caring for his dental family, Dr Huangenjoys finding new restaurants to try with family and friends and spending time with his three cats, Captain, Morgan, and MacCavity. He continues to play the piano, which he almost decided to do professionally, after his graduation with an Associates Degree from the Royal Conservatory Of Music in Toronto.
As aprosthodontist, heexamines and treats all types of disabilities caused by loss of teeth and supporting structures, this is frequently accomplished with the use of dental implants. With help from his highly trained team members, he providesadvanced treatment plans and surgery for the construction of corrective restorations and prostheses to restore proper function and esthetics of the mouth, face, and jaw.
What other issues/problems does Dr. Huang treat and solve? Maxillofacial prosthetic procedures such as oral cancer reconstruction and continuing care TMD, TMJ, or other jaw joint ailments Pre-radiation/chemotherapy protocols for head and neck cancer patients Snoring and sleep disorders Cleft palate and other congenital conditions that affect the mouth.
Dental treatment that affects all of the teeth in the mouth is called full mouth reconstruction or full mouth rehabilitation. Prosthodontists are the recognized experts in such treatments. The treatments can range from crowns, bridges, implants, and dentures that will essentially provide a smile makeover for the patient.
Lynn was born in Germany and became a proud American Citizen in 1962. Her father was a Major in the Army so the family traveled a lot. Upon his retirement they settled in Falls Church. Lynn went to George C. Marshall HS then onto Michigan State University, studying microbiology. She became interested in dentistry and received her Certified Dental Assisting License in 1989 and her Certified Dental Practice Management in 1994. She is a past president of the Dental Assistant Association, past board member of the Northern Virginia Dental Clinical from 1993-2003. She has been a proud member of Nova Premier Dental for over 30 years. Lynn enjoys traveling with her husband, trying new foods, gardening, and visits from her daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter.
Jina was born in Iraq and is fluent in Arabic as well as English. She moved to the USA in 1995 and became a proud American Citizen in 1997. She is caring and hard working: with over 18 years of dental experience 16 of which has been right here at Nova Premier Dental. Her smile and cheerful personality brings a warm presence to our practice. Jina enjoys spending quality time with her husband and son. She also enjoys our office retreats, continuing education meetings & cruises.
Diane is a 1993 NVCC Dental Hygiene Program graduate. She prides herself on being gentle, yet thorough. She is an exceptional dental hygienist with over 25 years of experience all of those years spent right here at Nova Premier Dental. Diane is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association. She enjoys going to the beach with her 2 children, gardening and spending quality time with the rest of her family of 3 dogs, 1 cat, 2 parrots, and a rabbit.

I had several dentists in the past who always did a ok job, but this office tops them all without a doubt. From beginning to end, they were always professional, kept me informed (even when I was on the chair), and kept me comfortable at all times. Dr. Huang is truly a master of his craft and I would highly recommend this office!!

Dr. Huang is one of the most caring physicians I've ever known. I really appreciate his willingness to work through all my various dental challenges until the challenges are met. Lynn, the office manager, is absolutely great and has helped me greatly through the more than 20 years I've been going to this office. Diane similarly has done a top notch job of cleaning my teeth for many years. All the staff are great. You can't go wrong with Dr. Huang & staff.

This place is the best! I have come here for close to 20 years and am so happy they are still practicing. The original dentist I had retired but he went to great lengths to pick his replacements. The first one was a wonderful dentist but he moved on to another opportunity and now we have Dr. Huang. He is just great. Very skilled and smart and very nice and kind. He is so talented he also teaches on the days the office is closed. And he is young so hopefully he won't retire for a while. This office is a special place. It has a really happy and competent vibe. The ladies working here have been with the practice a long time so everything runs smoothly. Lynn runs the office and will do everything she can to help you with your insurance. Gina helps Dr. Huang with procedures. They are a great team. And Diane will clean your teeth and make you ready to smile. So don't put off going to the dentist! This is the best place to go if you are afraid and maybe you put off seeing the dentist for awhile. They make you feel so comfortable. The office is small and cozy but they also have all the latest machines and technology etc. And during the pandemic it is very safe. They are taking every available precaution. Go to the dentist and take care of your teeth!

Dr. Huang and his staff are truly wonderful!! I had two implants done. The results are amazing. Dr. Huang explained everything in great detail. His staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. I have had dental work since I was a child from Children's hospital Boston and I can ensure you these people are professionals and experts in their field. They did great work and were kind and courteous the whole time. Highly recommend.
