Dr. Nicholas Mickelson grew up in Fargo, North Dakota. His passion for dentistry started at an early age and is rooted in his familys experience in medicine. He attended University of North Dakota where he received a bachelors degree in Biological Sciences.
Continuing his studies, he left for the sunny shores of Florida to attend LECOM School of Dental Medicine where he was a member of the inaugural class. Dr. Mickelson also had the opportunity to practice dentistry in Erie, PA at an outreach clinic during his final year of dental school.

She has structured her family-owned dental practice to provide excellent customer service along with outstanding dental care.
I love being able to take my patients oral health to the next level! I believe in not just cleaning teeth, but giving my patients the tools they need to improve their health. Paula is focused on creating a comfortable and fun environment for patients. She loves to answer questions about the latest dental technology and home care products. Using her ten years of experience in dentistry, she aims to elevate the bar in clinical hygiene and foster long term relationships with her patients. Fun fact: Paula was Nova Dentals very first employee and she was initially hired as a dental assistant while she finished her education as a Dental Hygienist.
She likes to spend her free time running around her neighborhood, taking care of her plants, and hanging out with her husband. On weekends, Paula enjoys working on her car as a hobby and going to the beach.
Every day my mission is to make each patient feel comfortable on their dental visit, having a positive experience even before they see the doctor.Cristina career in the dental field impressively spans almost 20 years and counting, and she has a genuine passion for helping other people improve their oral health. She brings all her experience working as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant with certificates in radiology, sealants and CPR. Our patients love her calming demeanor and genuine care. She loves working in Dentistry helping patients have the best experience possible.

This place is amazing! The doctor and all the employees are so nice. They try very hard to make appointments work around your schedule. I have never had to sit in the waiting room for more than a couple minutes. They explain everything very well and give you all the information on what insurance will cover. The office looks brand new and has all the up to date equipment! If you are looking for a new dentist, I highly suggest going to Nova.

Dr. Nick and the team are amazing. Everyone works great together and they are all bright and happy! They make sure you're comfortable and understand procedures. They even took the time to help me decide on which procedure to go with, and I didn't feel pressured at all. So much better than other dental practices I've been to previously. I HIGHLY recommend Nova Dental!
