I earned my Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Temple University School of Dentistry in 2002. I also received training at the prestigious Dawson Academy for Advanced Dental Studies, where I studied under a large faculty of senior practicing dentists from around the world. I am a dedicated professional and regularly pursue continuing education. I am currently working on my postgraduate degree in aesthetic dentistry from the University of Minnesota.

On a more personal note, I am married and have two daughters.I met my wife in Philadelphia, but Northern Virginia was her home and now mine.I treasure my time with my family.I also enjoy playing soccer, tennis, reading and I am an avid sports fan.
I am an Associate General Dentist here at Nova Dental Partners working alongside Dr. Kamran Tavakkoli, Dr. Kambiz Tavakkoliand Dr. Pashmini. I studied at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and received the degree of Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2016.
I am an Invisalign certified provider and have had rigorous and comprehensive care training and experience. I have completed numerous continuing education courses and I was also awarded #1 Office Main Clinical Director in the State of Indiana for 2016-2017.
I practice conservative dentistry backed up by the latest clinical research and proven dental diagnostics, techniques, and philosophies. I am all about practicing dentistry that is gentle and comfortable and Im excited to provide the most high quality dental treatment to my patients.
I am a Korean American who moved to the United States at the age of 8. I grew up in Ohio, but also moved around between Kentucky and Indiana. My hobbies include basketball, golf, snowboarding, and any other indoor/outdoor activities.

I go here for cleaning, and maintenance of my chipped tooth. Dr. Hurley did a great job fixing my tooth , I doesn't look like it was ever broken! They are very thorough when cleaning, but may sometimes suggest Invisalign to patients, if that is something you are interested, please get second opinion from orthodontist before moving forward with it.

Probably the most friendly down to earth Dental office I have visited. I actually live across the river in Maryland (Indian Head) so I wanted to go to a dentist that was friendly, could take care of my toothache, and had plenty of parking. I'm so glad I came here! Jasmine was very professional and committed to providing the best service possible. For a young team, they are top notch.

So far so good. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. Dr Hurley listened and gave thoughtful information, suggestions, and care during my procedure. Dental hygienist was great too.

Coming to the dentist is always nerve racking for me. For my teeth cleaning I felt comfortable from the beginning. As soon as you enter you're greeted kindly. The dental hygienist (I forgot to ask for her name) is so attentive. She listened to my concerns and was gentle on my teeth. The doctor was so nice, she made sure I had no cavities due to having some sensitivity as well. Thank you everyone at Nova Dental Partners. I know I am in great hands with you all.

Dr. Hurley was great, I had a filling done and she was able to throughly explain the process. Her assistant Jocelyn was friendly and made the scheduling of the appointment easy and pleasant even giving a call beforehand to make sure I was able to arrive to the appointment on time. Going to the dentist isn't always an enjoyable thing but at nova dental partners it's always pleasant.

Have had quite a few procedures done here including filling replacements and root canals with Dr Hurley and Dr Choi. Everything was aces all around. The dental assistants have been the most gentle, caring and skilled ive interacted with. Joselyn is just one great example. Heshmet their resident hygienist has to be one of the most skilled in the business. Dr Choi even spotted an infection at the tip of a root that had been there for years! Not one dentist had spotted this before him. He recommended a dental surgeon who solved the problem before it caused major damage to my jaw. Could not recommend this office and its staff more.

I haven't been to the dentist in years so I was nervous about my appointment. I had an appointment with Dr. Hurley this afternoon and the experience was great! The entire team is AMAZING. Joselyn was so welcoming and made sure I was comfortable throughout my entire appointment. Dr. Hurley was caring and communicative! My teeth feel and look 10 times better. I'm so excited and looking forward to my next appointment. I highly recommend!

This is my third experience with a dentist in the Mt. Vernon area and the best ever. I had a cleaning today and I swear the professional who cleaned my teeth to my surprise took such care that I barely felt a thing! Wow!

My family has been coming to this location for many years and the service and care has always been great! All staff are friendly & helpful and the medical dental team is expert! Had great service from the hygienist, Heshmat, she is very thorough and flossed like a pro with no excessive force. Very clean, professional care.
