I called on Friday due to lose tooth , got me right in on Monday , I got there Pam took me back did X-rays waited on doctor , I asked her if there anything he could do today , because I had interviews the rest of the week . Pam walked me through the process and explained everything they were doing. I told her I hate the dentist and I was scared she told me there nothing to worry about because the doctor are amazing. Honestly they are the best dentist I've been too in years, I absolutely hate the dentist , I will definitely be back for future appointments. Don't look no more call and make your appointment.

The office staff is very rude! I have never had an dental office that treated a patient so rudely. This is absolutly not a kid friendly office. NO patience whatsoever with my son. Go somewhere else that has more manners, and can treat you kindly!

My experiences were mostly great! Very kind and comforting dentists, hygienists and assistants! Their prices were also VERY competitive! I was surprised at how cheap my work was, and it seems like really good work, as far as my uneducated eyes can see at least. However, and this is what is preventing me from giving a 5 stars, the office staff are really... not great. Some of them were AMAZING, all of the staff I interacted with at the desk they have past the waiting room were great and very helpful in giving me estimates/scheduling more appointments. However, the ones who actually check you in came off as very rude to me. I work in customer service, so I absolutely get the job is frustrating, but they left me feeling uncomfortable every time.

Missed a couple appointments during covid so they refused to schedule me an appointment, told me to call everyday and ask for an opening. Staff was very rude and gives a difficult time getting records so i can go to a different practice

We absolutely love Nova Dental in Tarentum! Everybody in the office has always been so nice and helpful. They've always gone above and beyond for our family. Dr. Ryan has always taken the time to just ask how everything is going in general and makes sure we understand any work being done. He's incredibly patient with children and really quick, but thorough, with any dental work. All of our family's dental work looks great and we highly recommend this location!

They don't even know when they're patients are supposed to be there. My mother showed up with my son for a 3 oclock, they told her his appointment was at 2 and turned him away, had to send a screenshot to prove they messed up. Tell you one thing and arrive to find out completely different info. We're getting a new dentist....... tomorrow. EDIT: when i made the appointment. I SAID: I have to work that day. May mother bring him in? And YOUR RECEPTIONIST said: "Make sure she has a note" So, either your staff doesnt know their jobs or your policies, or we were blatantly lied to. Either way, unprofessional for a medical office.

I am terrified by the dentist! Dr. Wolff and staff make me feel so comfortable! I could not ask for a better group of people to take care of my teeth!

Save yourself a lot of pain emotionally and physical because not only do they tell you "oh that doesn't hurt quit flinching " but they are so rough they bruised the whole side of my face and told me that's normal. No it's not normal! Do not go to them!

Well I thought this place was nice until today. My insurance SPECIFICALLY told me they would either cover my permanent denture OR my temporary. Called this office about my temporary and they said that there's no way my insurance would cover it yet UPMC confirmed they would, also told me they only make temporary not immediate dentures which are the same thing. Found out from the new dentist that i couldnt have gotten them anyway because Nova never took impressions PRIOR to extraction. New dentist also argued with me that Nova cleaned my bottom teeth, she said it looked like it was never done and didnt believe me til she verified the cleaning through my insurance. Then they proceeded to drop me as a patient A WEEK AFTER A SURGICAL PROCEDURE without advance notice. Textbook patient abandonment, lawyer was already contacted. DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE!! They left me high and dry with ZERO upper teeth, didn't even have a followup appointment to make sure procedure went well. They didn't even tell me about the temporary or the 6 month wait for teeth until I was already in the chair for extraction.

I went here for years as it was the only local place that accepted my insurance. When I switched insurance I started seeing a different provider. For convenience sake I tried to schedule my next cleaning back at Nova Dental and was told that because "I expressed my dissatisfaction with their practice to the doctor I am unable to be seen here moving forward." I have never complained about my service with them despite having bad experiences in the past. I asked for an explanation because this is first I have heard of this and was told they could not provide me any more information. Like I mentioned I have never complained before but I will now. Listen to the other reviews, take your business elsewhere. In response to your reply Dr. Wolf, that is not how the real world works. If someone complains to me at my workplace I would never tell them they are no longer allowed to come back. You lack professionalism and the incorrect grammar/spelling/punctuation you used speaks volumes about your education. Do the community a favor and find a better career for you. P.S. when I did call to figure out where you got this absurd information from I was denied the opportunity to speak to you. Petty.

Past experiences have been great however today my 7 year old was brought in for loose baby teeth and a check up, the technician was nice but Dr. Keam who is described as "compassionate " demonstrated a very high level of unprofessionalism and flat out bad manners, first she tells my daughter "no wonder your tooth hurts there's a big hole in it" she then proceeded to guilt and shame my wife to the point that she was in tears, no doctor should be judgemental in any setting but thier to do thier job focusing on patient care, I do no wish to see anyone lose thier job however some staff members at this office would benefit from some remedial customer service training
