Dr. Neal Emad graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry in 1983 and graduated with honors from the University of Maryland Dental School in 1987. He continues his education yearly to remain current as a general practitioner, and has achieved advanced certification in orthodontics by both the United States Dental Institute and the Mid-Atlantic Orthodontic Society. He is certified in Invisalign and oral sedation, and he has received advanced training in implant dentistry.
Our dentist has served in Vienna for more than 29 years. His goal as a dentist is to provide his patients with excellent oral health services. He strives to make every patient feel as comfortable as possible while he explains every procedure every step of the way.
Dr. Marcus Emad graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in biology in 2013 and graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2018. He received specialized training through clerkship programs for pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, periodontics, and more. Dr. Marcus also continues his education through different certifications for orthodontics, implant dentistry, and other specialties in order to remain current as a dental practitioner.
Dr. Marcus is very active in the dental community and is constantly reviewing and studying clinical trials and results in order to provide the utmost excellence of dental care for his patients. In his spare time he likes to snowboard, golf, play guitar, and more.
Patricia is our highly skilled clinical director and dental assistant lead. She attended the University of San Martin de Porres, School of Dentistry in Lima, Peru, where she graduated in 1999. After graduating dental school, she completed a masters degree in teaching and research in stomatology at the University Federico Villareal in Lima, Peru. Patty enjoys meeting each patient and loves to hear about what is new and exciting in the patients day.
Luma is our office coordinator and has called Nova Dental Care her second home since 2001. She graduated from George Mason University with a double major in international relations and biology. Luma loves getting to know each patient we help treat. She welcomes new patients to the family and truly cares about their comfort.
Cindia is the dental hygienist at Nova Dental Care. She is dedicated and enthusiastic to helping our patients obtain and maintain excellent oral health. Cindia received a BS in dental hygiene from Old Dominion University and received an MBA in management from Strayer University. Cindia is also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, where she served from 1986-1990. She welcomes every patient and strives to make you feel comfortable and part of the family.

I've been going here for over 20 years (mostly the Chantilly office). I got fillings as a kid, braces as a teenager, and wisdom tooth extractions as an adult. I could not be happier with the care I get here! Both Neal and Marcus are absolutely amazing dentists. You can tell they genuinely care.

I had an emergency and Dr. Marcus saw me despite the office being closed for the weekend and me belonging to another office. He helped relieve my pain until I could get in to my normal office. 5/5

Doctors Neal and Marcus Emad are amazing. We have been going to them for years and now our aDULT CHILDREN STILL GO THERE AS WELL. EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE MOVED FARTHER AWAY TO rOCKVILLE mD WE STILL GO TO BOTH THE cHANTILLY AND Vienna offices for our regular and emergency appointments like when I bit thru something hard in some pizza and needed an emergency crown they didnt hesitate to take me right away.

Dr Emad and his team are outstanding! I've trusted them to take care of my teeth for over 30 years, including cleanings, veneers, crowns, and more recently implants. I had an accident and broke two teeth and Dr Emad took my call, helped me through what to do, and made me an appointment right away to talk through options to fix. He successfully put in two implants and everything is now fantastic. I truly appreciate the service Dr Emad and his team provides, and the dental proficiency of their work.

I have been seeing Dr. Emad since 1993. Yesterday I had the pleasure of also meeting and being worked on by his son, Marcus Emad. The care I have received over the past 27 years is second to NONE. Dr. Emad takes his time and makes sure the patient is comfortable and understand the work that is about to happen. Dr. Emad also did my braces when I was in high school and after braces he pulled my wisdom teeth, and even back then in 2000, he was calling home to check on me and asking my parents about my recovery. I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Emad, and now with his son Marcus working beside him, I'm so glad my excellent dental care will be offered for many more years. Thank you for making every experience as painless as possible and as comfortable as you can imagine <3

Dr. Emad has been my dentist for the past 25 years. He has taken care of numerous crowns and root canals for me (I did not grow up with good dental hygiene), he took care of braces for both of my daughters, and he continues to be conscientious in my dental care. In December 2018, he removed my youngest daughter's wisdom teeth (she is 18). He really took his time and was as gentle as possible. A week later, you could not even tell that anything had been done in her mouth - the extraction sites had healed well. Dr. Emad is always professional and personable. I feel he truly cares of my family as patients.

I went in for what I thought was a cavity, but it turned out to be a cracked tooth. The staff & doc took care of me right away, fitted me for a crown and a set me up with a temporary crown all as part of the initial visit! They were patient, very kind and they walked me through everything step by step so I felt comfortable.
