Dentists Kenneth Hsieh, DDS and Jennifer R. Dr. Kenneth Hsieh (pronounced shay) D.D.S., or Dr. Ken, is originally from Canada, but he grew up in Buffalo, N.Y, and later moved to Houston in his formative years. He attended the University of Texas at Austin and afterwards received his dental degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston. He later obtained a Preceptorship in Dental Implantology from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He is currently working on advancing his interest and skills in the area of Orthodontics.
His passions include working with his hands, which is why he enjoys dentistry. Dr. Ken likes to figure out how things work, and enjoys talking with patients about their dental condition and how they can improve their own dental health.
He is an avid college football fan, and his love for the UT Longhorns (Hook em!) is only surpassed by his love for his family. He has two young children who like building forts and having pillow fights. If he had free time, he would either work on his car or catch up movies that he has missed.
Dr. Jennifer Jupio was raised in Northwest Houston and graduated from Cypress Falls High School. She received her BA and BS degrees from the University of Texas at Austin. Afterwards she attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where she received her D.D.S. She went on to complete a residency in their Advanced Education in General Dentistry program. She later obtained a Preceptorship in Dental Implantology from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She is proud to be a Longhorn!
Dr. Jupio values continuing education, and believes you can never stop learning. You dont know what you dont know. She is proud to have earned her Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, or FAGD. To earn Fellowship in the AGD, dentists must take more than 500 hours of education courses in various disciplines. Candidates must also pass a rigorous exam. She is one of only 7% of general dentists who have achieved this honor.
Dr. Jupio loves working with kids and grownups who are kids-at-heart. She knows that most people dont like going to the dentist, so she tries to make every visit as pleasant and as comfortable as possible. Knowing that shell see most patients only twice a year, she has a passion for getting them to understand the importance of keeping their teeth clean the other 363 days of the year. She strives to have her patients leave their visits happier than when they first walked in.
Teresa has been a part of our team since 2010. She handles the business aspects of our office along with personnel needs. She also helps in the management of our daily schedule, keeping patient care at the highest level. She enjoys building personal relationships, working through treatment concerns, and creating financial plans for our patients. In her spare time, she loves being with her kids, who are very active in martial arts and sports. She is a huge fan of The Walking Dead and cant wait for the next season to begin.
Joanna will greet and check you in with the brightest smile. She was born in the beautiful city of Austin, TX but has lived in Houston her whole life. She loves to travel, listen to country music, and enjoys wine or margaritas on the weekends. Her hobbies include fishing and enjoying the outdoors. Her favorite foods are loaded baked potatoes and fajitas.
Estefania is full of joy, enthusiasm and always has a smile. With a positive attitude, she loves to create a caring and comfortable environment for all her patients. I love what I do and cant imagine waking up to any other job. She loves to spend time with family and watch movies. Winter and Christmas are her favorite times of the year and she definitely loves to sleep when she has a small chance to do so. Favorite phrase: Good morning!
