I cannot say enough great things about this dental practice. From our very first phone call, everyone was so kind and answered all my questions. I have a special needs son that needed a lot of dental work and needed to be put under sedation. The dentist was very patient and understood the unique needs and concerns we had for our son. The anesthesiologist was wonderful and took great care of him. They are truly wonderful and you can tell they really care about their patients!

My wife and I have an 18-year old special needs son who hadn't seen the dentist since he was 14. The staff was kind and considerate of our situation, reassured us that he would get the dental work he needed, and all with no shaming. I would recommend this practice to ANY of the special needs families that I talk to in Northern Virginia.

NOVA Dental was absolutely great. Dr Ali and his staff are professional, courteous, and go above and beyond the traditional medical/dental office. All of my interaction with the front office staff, dental assistants, and other staff was great. When I had a scheduling conflict, they didn't hesitate to accommodate me. I would not hesitate to go to NOVA Dental Anesthesia for all of my dental needs.

After visiting with three other dentists we finally found Dr Ali. Caring for a senior is not easy. These fine gentleman are highly trained specialists in sedation dentistry. I can't express my thanks enough! Carol needed quite a bit of work and this was by far the easiest solution for her! Thanks Dr Ali!

I have severe dental anxiety, and Dr. Ali and his entire team make me feel calm. They take great care of me and every time I need a break, they are more than calm and happy to help. They are professional, clean, very kind and understanding.

I have avoided the dentist for many MANY years due to a previous bad dental experience. I needed a lot of work and could no longer wait. I looked at anesthesia due to the amount of work and I could not be more pleased. The entire staff have been supportive and very understanding of my hesitancy to go to the dentist. They created a treatment plan with different options and were very clear in all details. They let me steer the decisions and were not pushy at all. I don't receive childish lectures on how to brush (something every previous dentist has given me) but adult suggestions which were much appreciated. I went from almost a decade of avoidance to now having no issue or fear about going to see the dentist. NOVA Dental is outstanding!!!

I had quite a bit of dental work needing to be done and the dentists, dental surgeons, anesthesiologists and dental assistants at NOVA Dental Anesthesia helped the process be as physically, mentally and emotionally painless as possible since I've had bad experiences at previous dentist offices throughout my life. They made sure to inform me quite thoroughly about the work that needed to be done and the process of the general anesthesia I'd be undertaking. The work that I needed done included extractions, fillings and crown work. I was supplied with the necessary medication prescriptions and was even called later that night at my home to check on my recovery from the surgery that day. I was also called a second time the next day to go over any questions or concerns I had while recovering. I was pleasantly surprised, since I don't think I've ever received that level of bedside manner from a dentist office before. I feel like I have made the correct decision picking NOVA Dental Anesthesia for my dental care. I am still in the process of getting my permanent crowns fitted and can provide an updated review once all the work is completely finished and I have a happier and healthier mouth to take care of

Like a number of adults I know, I did not like the dentist. I disliked the dentist so much, I went 12 years without seeing one!! If it hadn't been for a chipped tooth, I probably would have attempted to avoid the dentist for the rest of my life. After doing some online research, we found NOVA Dental Anesthesia. I'm not going to lie - I was extremely nervous the first time I walked in. Because of many years of neglect, I have had many dentist appointments in the past six months. I am happy to report that I no longer break into a cold sweat at the thought of visiting the dentist. The whole team, from Emily at reception to Dr. Rasool and Dr. Ali have been amazing. They take awesome care of me and you can tell they really care about their patients. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOVA Dental Anesthesia.

Highly recommend! I have LOTS of anxiety about going to the dentist. After this visit, I have become an advocate. Dr. WISSAM and DR RIFAL were amazing. They made me feel comfortable and I believe the treatment plan is actionable and has my best interest in mind.

I came to NOVA Dental Anesthesia after 7+ years of avoiding the dentist due to my fears of dentists, drilling, pain, etc. Now I no longer need to worry about getting work done on my teeth thanks to Dr. Ali and the staff here! From the consultation through surgery, they made me feel right at home and worked with me every step of the way to ensure I was comfortable. Dr. Ali and the staff have great personalities and they do top-notch work. A+ service and work! I'm happy to report I had my first surgery 2 days ago. I was able to come in, get put to sleep and wake up without the headache of drilling, root canal, and pulling of teeth. It was like a dream and I'm so grateful for the team here. I have recommended and will continue to recommend NOVA Dental Anesthesia. I plan to have them do all my future dental work. Thank you so much NOVA Dental!!!

We recently went for my son's initial consultation and met Dr Ali. Two things immediately impressed me - his professionalism and, even more importantly, his kindness and empathy. He described the entire process in great detail and answered all our questions. My son and I left knowing we were in good hands. Moreover, when we missed the dental appointment itself (my fault) he was kind, understanding and reassuring. Had we traded places, I'm not sure how I would have reacted. I will update the review after the dental appt is completed. To this point I would recommend without hesitation.

I am glad that I was treated by a group of professionals. From the moment I entered the office, They welcomed me and made everything really easy. Dr. Ali is a great doctor who treated me well. He eased my anxiety and made extracting wisdom teeth an easy, fearless treatment. I will always recommend being treated in this office.

NOVA Dental removed all my anxiety concerning dental work. The facility is clean and the staff is professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I received a dental crown on 2 back teeth, other than the discomfort of having someone's hand in my mouth, I was NEVER in pain. They frequently asked how I was doing and appeared genuinely concerned for my well-being. Highly recommend.

WOW! This practice was a lifesaver! Dr. Ali and his team are top notch. Being a parent to an adult child with severe intellectual disabilities is VERY stressful. When our son had dental issues, no one in our area (Virginia Beach) would consider treating our son due to his behaviors. When I found Dr. Ali, and explained the difficulties our son has, he wasn't phased one bit and assured us they could cope with anything that might pop up. They were well prepared and most importantly listened to us. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

I have a HUGE dentist phobia but Dr. Rasool was amazing! She was kind, walked me through everything so I felt prepared, and she did not belittle my pain/fear. All and all the best dental visit I've had in over a decade.

Great experience as a first timer. I barely waited to be helped when I checked in. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I especially loved how they really took their time to explain my daughter's condition with me as well as her treatment options. I had a great visit and the dentist demeanor has really put my daughter at ease so I highly recommend this dental clinic.
