Dr. Pamela Bui is a board certified pediatric dentist who was born and raised in Fairfax, Virginia. She graduated from the prestigious Thomas Jefferson School for Science and Technology. After high school, she attended the University of Virginia where she majored in Biology and was on the Deans List. She decided to pursue a career in dentistry after shadowing several dentists, including members of her family. Dr. Pam earned her dental degree from the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry where she participated in multiple outreach programs, including several dental mission trips to South Dakota and Mexico. Dr. Pam completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Queens, New York. She has been working in the New York area for the past several years but family and ties to the area have brought her back to Virginia.
Dr. Pam is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She specializes in the dental care of children of all ages. Her goal is to provide a positive and comfortable dental experience for both children and parents.
Very young children, pre-teens, and teenagers require unique approaches in dealing with their behavior, guiding dental growth and development, and educating them to avoid future dental problems. A pediatric dentist is best qualified to meet these needs. Pediatric dentists undergo special training for an additional two to three years after dental school to learn how to better understand and care for children, from infancy to teens, as well as persons with disabilities.
We believe our greatest asset is our skilled and talented dental team. NOVA Childrens Dentistry requires members of our clinical staff be trained and certified according to state guidelines, as well as possess a special interest in children. We cultivate relationships with each and every patient, ensuring not only better dental care but making a visit to the dentist into a visit between friends.
Zain finished dental school in Pakistan and is an aspiring dentist in the United States. He has been a valued member of our team since 2018. He enjoys working at NCD because he gets to provide oral healthcare to children, which he considers very fulfilling and meaningful. In his spare time, Zain enjoys aquascaping, cooking for his family and the occasional video game.
She was born in Laos and grew up in France. She has two boys, Calvin and Michael. When she is not working you will find her in her garden taking care of her flowers. She loves to work at NCD because she gets to meet families from around the world!
Anyeli has been part of NCD since 2019. She loves helping kids smile when they visit the dentist and tries to make each visit unique. Anyeli loves to travel and spends her days with her adorable bunny Pike!
Diana has been a part of our team since 2019. She values family above all else and loves working at NCD and watching our patients grow. She spends her time outside the office working on her studies as she plans on becoming a nurse and spoiling her daughter.

Nova Children's Dentistry of South Riding is great. Both of our daughter's enjoy going there. The staff is very nice. It is conveniently located and they accept our current insurance.

Today was our first visit and we had an excellent experience. From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed and my daughter was taken back right away for her appointment. She felt as though the hygienist and Dr. Bui were not only friendly, but gentle and genuinely cared for her health.

What customer service! I called yesterday because I got an EOB from my insurance denying my kids' biannual cleaning. I spoke with Evette, who not only knew what the problem was, but had already contacted my insurance, and was working to resolve the issue! (It was totally fixed for one of my kids, and the other's claim was still being reprocessed.) I didn't even have to call my insurance, she'd totally taken care of it for us. I was BLOWN away. The most amazing service I've received from any medical office anywhere! We also got a chance to meet Dr. Bui at my kids' last appointment. She was kind and knowledgeable, thoroughly explaining to me what to expect and watch out for following trauma to one of my son's baby teeth. Overall, we're very happy with Nova Children's Dentistry!

As always, from the reception desk to the dentist, everyone here is smiling and helpful. My child loves to move and explore, especially in the middle of a cleaning, yet the technician and dentist never lost their cool, were patient, and quick to respond with praise when my child settled back down. On top of the 'customer service', the skills and abilities of the technician and dentist are fantastic. I am so glad we found this dentist, and plan to use this practice for years to come.

This is the worst dentist I've ever been to. Apart from ruining my child's teeth, they have incompetent staff that file claims incorrectly, leaving the patient to bear the responsibility of the bill that their insurance should cover, such as general cleaning!!! I am beyond frustrated that even after calling them again and again, after 4 months, this issue is not resolved. Instead they sent a claim incorrectly for the prior year, hence increasing my amount due!!!!

My 6 yr old used to be terrified of dentists until we came across Dr. Kamil, he has a way of communicating with his young patients that I have never seen before, to my surprise my son cooperates every time we have to see the doctor, which have been a number of times already due to a decent amount of work that my little one has to get done. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Kamil and his staff to anyone who is looking for a top notch pediatric dentist.

My problem and why I am giving this place two stars is the prices and the lack of explanation of the procedures they were recommending to me for my daughter's teeth. I cannot recommend this place as I was quoted 800 for two fillings and they wanted to cap to teeth that are going to be falling out in just a year or two. Avoid this place.
