Dr. Pamela Bui is a board certified pediatric dentist who was born and raised in Fairfax, Virginia. She graduated from the prestigious Thomas Jefferson School for Science and Technology. After high school, she attended the University of Virginia where she majored in Biology and was on the Deans List. She decided to pursue a career in dentistry after shadowing several dentists, including members of her family. Dr. Pam earned her dental degree from the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry where she participated in multiple outreach programs, including several dental mission trips to South Dakota and Mexico. Dr. Pam completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Queens, New York. She has been working in the New York area for the past several years but family and ties to the area have brought her back to Virginia.
Dr. Pam is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She specializes in the dental care of children of all ages. Her goal is to provide a positive and comfortable dental experience for both children and parents.
Very young children, pre-teens, and teenagers require unique approaches in dealing with their behavior, guiding dental growth and development, and educating them to avoid future dental problems. A pediatric dentist is best qualified to meet these needs. Pediatric dentists undergo special training for an additional two to three years after dental school to learn how to better understand and care for children, from infancy to teens, as well as persons with disabilities.
We believe our greatest asset is our skilled and talented dental team. NOVA Childrens Dentistry requires members of our clinical staff be trained and certified according to state guidelines, as well as possess a special interest in children. We cultivate relationships with each and every patient, ensuring not only better dental care but making a visit to the dentist into a visit between friends.
Zain finished dental school in Pakistan and is an aspiring dentist in the United States. He has been a valued member of our team since 2018. He enjoys working at NCD because he gets to provide oral healthcare to children, which he considers very fulfilling and meaningful. In his spare time, Zain enjoys aquascaping, cooking for his family and the occasional video game.
She was born in Laos and grew up in France. She has two boys, Calvin and Michael. When she is not working you will find her in her garden taking care of her flowers. She loves to work at NCD because she gets to meet families from around the world!
Anyeli has been part of NCD since 2019. She loves helping kids smile when they visit the dentist and tries to make each visit unique. Anyeli loves to travel and spends her days with her adorable bunny Pike!
Diana has been a part of our team since 2019. She values family above all else and loves working at NCD and watching our patients grow. She spends her time outside the office working on her studies as she plans on becoming a nurse and spoiling her daughter.

Great and friendly staff! Jasmin was exceptional,when cleaning my daughters teeth. Front desk was kind. Mary was really nice to my son as she cleaned his teeth. Angeli was very sweet when she did my daughters X-ray. My kids are kind of scared of the dentist. I recommend this place 100%

Worst place I've ever been. They charged us $250 put a crown on a baby tooth without even telling us beforehand. Yelled at me to put a mask on for doing their job when I had to call the dental insurance. Their estimate was nearly $50 off. I corrected my son's date of birth over the phone days before our appointment, but it was still wrong in their system.

Dr. Bui is treating kids brutally. Kids got scared next time for treatment. My family had so many kids left this doctor.

Dr. Pam (Bui) has been my children's dentist for a few years and is wonderful. She takes the time to explain and answer questions. The hygienists are patient and kind, and are great with children. Office staff is efficient and organized.

Worst experience. We were patients here for years when Dr. Rodriguez was the dentist here. Once the new dentist arrived and the staff changed, service got bad. We made an appointment 6 months ago in September for a cleaning in April. We arrived and they said the appointment was not in their system. We waited 15 minutes waiting if the doctor arrived. The front desk lady was super rude, making gross facial expressions and glaring at us. She said to wait for the doctor to arrive and never notified us of the Doctor had arrived. They refused to do anything or to squeeze us in. We had the email confirmation and still nothing. The doctor didn't even have to decency to apologize or come out to speak with us. The front desk lady didn't try anything, she said they already had appointments to tend to but so did we, it was not our fault, our appointment was scheduled. I explained we have work and cannot come any other date, and they sent us away. This was clearly an act of racism, because we're Latinos, and if it were a different patient they would've handled the situation better (the American front desk lady definitely would not have been rude or glaring). The same front desk lady was dressed inappropriately, with a v neck dress showing her chest, hair not brushed, and outfit just thrown on, definitely not a way we want our kids to see staff dressed at a dental office I would give this place 0 stars but had to give it 1 to write this review. Changing dentist to never come to this awful and disrespectful place ever again
