Dr. Hormoz Nourian graduated from the University of Tehran, School of Dentistry in 1980. After practicing dentistry overseas for seven years, he obtained licensure by the Dental Board of California in 1991 and has been in private practice since. In 2003, he relocated his private practice from Culver City to its current location in Woodland Hills, California.
Dr. Nourian completed his residency for implant placement surgery from Nobel Biocare and is an Invisalign Premiere Provider (orthodontics without braces). Dr. Nourian stays up to date on the latest advances and techniques in dentistry with memberships in the California Dental Association (CDA), American Dental Association (ADA), and San Fernando Dental Society.
Our office is equipped with state of the art sterilization, nitrous oxide gas (laughing gas), and computerized imaging (digital x-rays), with far less radiation exposure as compared with traditional film x-rays.

Great dentist. Does a very thorough cleaning. Friendly staff and you can get an appointment when you need it. would highly recommend.

Great experience, I felt that all my needs were met and considered. Very friendly and great customer care in all aspects of my visit, from my checking-in process to my very short wait in the dental chair for the dentist to come and see me. 5/5

I have a very bad experience with this doctor! I needed a crown for one of my front teeth, after confirming the color of the crown and matching it with my own teeth color, after waiting about 2 weeks they got me a very different color! When I complained, the doctor got mad and told me that I chose this color!! And When I went to this dentist's office for the second time to get my teeth fixed, he showed me the same crown as last time and insisted that this is a new one and same color as my teeth! I went to the laboratory myself (which was not my responsibility) to get a crown that matches my teeth color. For a simple crown, I waited a month to get it done at this dental office! Also, the filling that this dentist did for one of my teeth, fell off after only 6 months and he said that my tooth is broken and I have to pay $1,400 to get it fixed! So I went to another dentist's office and she told me that it's only the filling that has came off which would cost only $215 to fix! I would not definitely recommend this dentist because he would charge you for the things that insurance covers and make you pay more than the actual cost out of your pocket!

Excellent experience from start to finish. Had to get a wisdom tooth pulled when I first came to Dr. Nourian. I was told by a prior dentist it would be a major medical procedure and I had to go to an operating room. Dr. Nourian took it out in his office in an hour and I was on my way home for about $500 less than I would have had to pay if I had to do the dentist requiring me to go into the operating room. Since then I have also had a root canal here, also with great results. Highly recommend Dr. Nourian, he never pressure sales, just great dental work and he lets you know what you need.

Dr. Nourian is by far the best dentist I have ever been to. He is able to do a lot more complex procedures in his office than most other dentists and makes the most perfect feeling fillings and my implant is excellent. he tells you what you need with no sales games and staff is great as well
