Highly recommend Norwood Dental! The staff is compassionate, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Our family started coming here 15 years ago and we haven't looked back. Our kids like going to the dentist, so very kid friendly. Norwood Dental is like a family to us!
I just had my first visit here for a root canal after my previous dentist said I would have to go to a specialist. Dr. Ross took on my case and was a great dentist! The root canal went great and they even did my crown today so I wouldnt have to come back next week. They do one day crowns! My family and I will be changing our dental care over to Norwood dental.
Always feel like I am in great hands with the care and plan. Always a positive experience even when the dentist is the last place you want to be. I highly recommend Jordan for cleanings! Barb is such an amazing lady does a great job and is so kind. Doctor Bussler is great!
Dr. Ross was born in Northern Minnesota and was raised on the Mesabi Iron Range near Hibbing. Raised in a small town, it is natural that he would seek a small town in which to spend his career. He graduated from Greenway High School in Coleraine, MN in 1982. He received a bachelors degree in biology from The College of St. Thomas in St. Paul in 1986 and then he went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from theUniversity of Minnesotain 1990. He spent the first three years of his career working in various practice settings, such as associateship positions in the Twin Cities and as an employee of the Mille Lacs Ojibwe reservation. He began practicing in Norwood, MN in 1993 and decided within a few days of practicing there that this was where he wanted to stay.
After working as an associate ofNorwood Dentalfor three and a half years, he purchased the practice and the dental practice of Dr. Bertrum McCarthy. His vision for the practice was to provide modern high-tech dentistry for Western Carver County. He refused to accept the notion that modern health care could be found only in large communities and made it his goal to seek out the best of modern dental technology and make it available to his patients. Items such as fully computerized treatment rooms, Wand gentle anesthetic delivery systems, same day crowns, high tech smile makeovers, and laser cavity detection stand as proof of his commitment to his vision. He continues to tirelessly pursue his vision and makes every effort to ensure that his patients have the best experience possible.
Dr. Ross enjoys many activities outside of his dental practice. He participates in competitive cycling and strength training. He is an outdoor enthusiast and has spent many hours backpacking in the Rocky Mountains of Western Montana and the Superior National Forest. He enjoys recording his own music in his home recording studio. He has resided in western Carver County since 1995 with his wife Rebecca.

Been going to Norwood for almost a decade now. ALL the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Will work with you to provide the best care with affordability. Really do a good job of making you feel welcome and they get to know and remember their patients.

You know how most people loathe the dentist? Like dread, despise, fear, dislike or downright just hate the concept of dentists offices and visits? Yeah. Me too. I had a great dentist when I was a kid. Struggled thru my twenties though. Couldn't find a doc I liked or an office that seemed like they gave a rip about me as a patient or customer. Then I moved to Norwood and found the amazing team at Norwood Dental. Through cleanings, x-rays, fillings, and now my first crown (made on site!), they've been the most caring, concerned and genuinely interested team I've ever had the pleasure of being around. From flexible scheduling, extended hours, on the fly changes, and having an endless supply of novacaine to making sure questions are answered and putting my son at ease through his first few appointments as a youngster. This team of caring dental professionals is truly a hidden gem out west. Despite moving out of the area, we still make the drive to come see Dr Ross and Dr Bussler and their wonderful amazing staff. You should too, you might be their next Patient of the Day!

Wow! What a gem! My daughters were unsure after bad experiences at other dental offices. Let me tell you, they were so happy with their experience at Norwood dental. They felt comfortable and were so relieved that everyone, from the front office staff to the dentist were nice and welcoming! I too had my first visit and I am so impressed with the warm atmosphere and extremely pleasant staff. I will be recommending Norwood Dental from now on!!

Such a great experience at Norwood Dental , they always go above and beyond to make sure your taken care of in a timely manner. I broke a tooth and needed a crown I was worked in quickly ,Dr. Ross and Rachel completed my crown and I was on my way. They are better than a 5 star rating!

A huge thank you to Dr. Bussler and Abby for working me in at a moments notice in spite of a full schedule to fix a crown that had unexpectedly come undone. My family has been going to Norwood Dental for several years. We wouldn't even consider going any place else for outstanding service and top notch dental services.

This is her husband, not Dawn. I have had horrible memories of the dentist from being a kid and going to a midevil dentist with no conscience or love at all. It had been 20 years since I had gone to see a dentist and after my family's insistence, I made a consultation appointment. The staff was informed right away of my fear and accommodated me with everything they could. It was amazing! I made my first appointment for a filling and the doctor and nurse couldn't have been better! It was soooo much better than I had imagined and basically 0 pain! What a relief! For any of the people that fear the dentist, I would recommend highly Norwood Dental! From great and funny people at the front desk, all the way back to where the work is done, just great! They take away the anxiousness and let you get done what needs to happen. I didn't plan on going back to the dentist until my teeth were falling out, but now, I will go back under my own accord, without a support group, knowing I will be taking care of with all of their staff watching over me with care.

Going to this dentist is a gift. The entire team is so professional and a joy to be around. The technology they use is impressive and the experience (even when they are drilling inside your mouth) is about comfort. I even get a blanket. Love these guys and thankful to have such a capable dentist in our little town!

Dr. Ross and Dr. Bussler are so helpful, they listen to concerns and are very gentle when working with your teeth. The hygienists are very personable and are very calming, I'm never nervous when I sit down for cleanings. And the front desk staff (especially Deb ) are the absolute BEST!! Thank you, Norwood Dental, for being AMAZING!!

We have been at Norwood dental about five years. Started here after dr perry retired in Shakopee. Now we have moved to Shakopee and still Intend on using norwood dental. Dr Ross is the small guy with a common sense big heart that makes a person feel good there right along with the rest of the staff just by walking in the door. You simply do not get that at your big box dental offices that are around the metro.
