Marina is a native of Blackfoot, Idaho, the Potato Capital of the World. She was raised in East Los Angeles and relocated to New England 20 years ago and has been working with Dr. Michaels ever sinceshe can almost read his mind. Marina has been in the dental field for over 30 years. She loves the dental field and is passionate about helping others. Interesting fact about Marinashe does not like potatoes.
Kelley has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for 20 years! She graduated from Norwood High School and continued her education in Dental Hygiene at Cape Cod Community College. She is married with two teenage girls who keep her busy with ice hockey, field hockey, softball and cheer. When Kelley is not taking care of smiles or ubering her children around, she enjoys spending quality time with her family. One of her favorite places to be is the beach... If she could clean teeth there, she would!
Lilian grew up in Peru and has been living in New England for 12 years. She studied Dental Assisting at Southeastern Technical Institute. Lilian has always had a passion for Dentistry. After growing up with braces and undergoing multiple dental procedures, she was both curious and fascinated by the art of dentistry . Outside of work, Lilian enjoys spending time with her husband and family.
I was born in Cleveland, Ohio. In high school, I was recruited by several colleges for football and decided to play for Boston College. There, I played linebacker for 4 years majoring in chemistry and graduating with honors. After college, I then returned to Ohio to attend Ohio State University Dental School. My time at Boston College lead me to appreciate all that Boston had to offer, so I returned to start my practice in Norwood, MA. Having taken over 1000 hours of advanced education in dentistry, covering cosmetics, implants, endodontics, periodontics and orthodontics, enables me to offer the best possible care using the latest dental concepts and technologies to provide state of the art service in a friendly comfortable environment. The opportunity to help people overcome their fear of dentistry, improve their health and being selected as best dental practice in the area for 14 years certainly makes my work meaningful and enjoyable. Five children, two cats and a dog keep my wife and I busy but we still find time for cross country skiing and biking during the year.
Dr. Michaels literally grew up around dentistry, as his father has practiced in Norwood for over 40 years. He got to see firsthand how his father formed trusting relationships with his patients and was able to quickly fix their problems. Like his dad, Dr. Michaels was also naturally drawn to art and science, so dentistry seemed like a natural fit from the start.
After earning his undergraduate degree from Connecticut College, Dr. Michaels completed the prestigious program at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Since finishing school, he has committed himself to ongoing continuing education so he can stay on top of the latest breakthroughs and advancements in the dental world.
An avid hockey player as a child, Dr. Michaels now spends most of his free time with his fianc, Carly, as well as their dog and cat, Pepper and Franny. He often takes Pepper on walks around Norwood and brings her on any outdoor adventures. He and Carly also like trying new restaurants and are always looking for recommendations. On the weekends, youll often find him tinkering with computers as well.

I've been going to Dr. Michaels since 2008. My family of 5 all go now as well. Everyone is fantastic with kids and adults alike. As a dental assistant myself I can tell you that the work done by both Dr. John Michaels and David Michaels is top notch!!!

Dr. David Michaels has the most delicate touch in dentistry. Everyone who works there knows their patients and are incredibly friendly. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my mouth.

I was very nevous about getting a replacement bridge. Dr. Michaels and Marina took the time to explain all the details and a plan B if things did not go as planned. The day after the appointment Dr. Michaels called to see how I was doing. You are not just a number here. 5 star service and a 5 star review. Thank you!

Simply the best dental practice in the area. I have been coming here with my family for over 20 years and they treat everyone like their own family. Sure I was scared ! They scheduled me for an HOUR and a HALF ! The time was looong because the planned procedure was complicated and needed to be Methodically stepped through. End result was a repair that felt like my old teeth...the ones I had been chomping on for 30 years. Terrific comfort now, and wholehearted THANK YOU to the staff at Dr. Michael's Dental !!! They take great care of us....even A big Scaredy Cat like me !!'
