I had a consultation with Dr. Trofa on 08/03 and was waiting for them to get back to me with the surgery date after clearing with my doctors. I've been in pain for a long time with my impacted wisdom tooth and finally after waiting over 2 weeks I called the office for an update. The staff who I spoke with, I don't remember her name but maybe she said Karla, was very rude. I told her I was in a lot of pain and they never got back to me and her response was there was nothing she can do and she will make a note for someone to get back to me. It is now 9/13, I still haven't heard from anyone from this office. I went to another dentist and got the work done because I can't imagine keep waiting with the horrible pain for this long. Very disappointed as Dr.Trofa was amazing but I couldn't get my treatment done by him only because the staff was so irresponsible and rude. She will lose many patients for Dr. Trofa with this kind of behavior. I never write bad reviews but I'm writing this today so the office can avoid this in the future.

The staff is always kind and responsive. They are usually running on time and if they're not, it's very close to the time that I had scheduled. Dr. Trofa is a caring and responsible and knowledgeable surgeon. His staff is a reflection on him, a caring team who are flexible and happy to work with us. The office is beautiful and clean and relaxing. A+++

This review is purely about doctor Trofa. He did oral surgery for my wife and she couldn't be happier with his professionalism, attention and attitude. Everyone recommends Dr Trofa and after seeing couple other doctors - it became clear that he is the best. there could be some improvements in office/ admin staff but it's outsourced so please don't make conclusion about overall office. Net net this is the best doctor you can have for oral surgery.

You can't do better than Dr. Trofa: Talented and caring doctor, great staff and very pleasant office workers. I personally drive a half an hour past my local dental offices to see Dr. Trofa. Dental work is never on anybody's top 10 list of things to do. However, if you need a professional and caring doctor I very strongly recommend Dr. Trofa.

All 3 of my daughters had their wisdom teeth removed here. Great service and more importantly great people. The doctors and staff are so kind and thorough. Medical services can be very costly, but the office manager went way above and way beyond to help get the insurance to pay the bill! I am so grateful for the patience and persistence! Thank you!

Recently saw Dr. Trofa for an extraction -- my tooth had been bothering me for days and my dentist wanted me to be seen ASAP. Dr. Trofa's office got me in that day. The office staff was caring and made the entire process so easy. The surgery was so much easier than expected and was back at work the next day. I cannot thank the office and Dr. Trofa enough!

My experience with Dr Trofa and his staff has been nothing less than exceptional. I reached out to them in what was deemed to be an emergency. They treated me with care and respect; I felt special and taken care of. A call out to Babette who was my initial contact.

My dentist referred me to Dr. Trofa. I arrived at 1:10 pm for a 1:20 pm appointment which I had made the previous week. The front desk staff said my name was "in their system" but the doctor was "unavailable" and had no time to see me. Who can do that and stay in business?

The office staff is incredibly incompetent, unhelpful and rude. Brooke, the billing manager, delayed sending necessary information to my insurance company and then blamed me when the insurance company took longer to review the claim. The insurance company eventually rejected the claim and the office then immediately sent me a late payment bill threatening to send the amount I owed to collections. When I called to make payment (they don't have an online payment system) the office manager could not have cared less and was beyond rude and unprofessional. There are plenty of other oral surgeons in the area, this office is not worth the hassle they will inevitably put you through.

Had wo abscessed teeth pulled and found the staff (office and assistants) to be of high caliber ...... Dr Trofa performed the extractions and did an excellent job. Courteous, professional, focused, deliberate, quick and painless. I have full confidence in the medical staff.

Do not go to this practice at all!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS PRACTICE!!!!!!!!! Extremely rude staff. I had an appointment that I had to cancel because I did not remember it until Friday and it was out of my budget. I was not able to call the practice as they were closed on the weekend. When I made the appointment I asked about a payment plan and the girl said they would call you closer to the appointment time, (no one believed this) no one did until Friday and the voicemail left was to confirm the appointment nothing about no payment plan. Called to cancel thought that it was done. Only for rude Carla to call me to argue with me about paying a cancellation fee of 20%. She literally argued with me as a customer then hung up. I wish she had done that and said all that to my face!!! Then I called back and spoke to the supervisor at the practice about the Carla, she was just as rude. I had to remind her that as a customer who was complaining she hasn't apologized about Carla behavior!!!! It was then that she apologized, of course she did not mean it. She argued me down as well and telling me that they are right and I am wrong. Issue is still not resolved, I may pay the 20% or not. Uncaring staff!!! Then she said if I had answered my phone on Friday this could have been resolved!!!! How dare you??? How do you know what I was doing to have not answered my phone??? I told her to play the recording and hear the way I was treated!!! I doubt the calls are recorded. She was just as bad!!!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE DENTAL PRACTICE!!!I have never experienced this type of behavior from a company before!!! Do not go to this practice at all!!!

Over this summer, I met with Dr. Kevin McLaughin with my 17 year old son to remove his wisdom teeth. His office called the next day to provide an in-network cost for the procedure which was 50 percent of the cost of the surgery. The cost of the procedure was $3,600 and they billed me the agreed upon cost plus anesthesia for a whopping $1,800 paid in full before we left the building. Post surgery, the billing department began to harass myself and today (1/26/2020) called my 18 year old son, a freshman in college harassing him for more money. The first additional bill was over $800 and now $350 but something is certainly not right here. My multiple calls to Cigna to check on these excess bills, Cigna said this office is out-of-network and Dr. McLaughlin's office needs to follow up with Cigna. The office still denies they are out-of-network and claim it has to do with my deductible. This is incorrect. This surgery was pre-arranged by a so-called "in network" office which covers 50% of costs which was quoted and agreed upon prior to the surgery and paid post surgery as agreed in full. Additionally, "in network providers" as they have always represented are not legally able to bill for more than 50% of the procedure cost so seems this office have a couple procedures that are not in compliance with insurance claims. In reading other reviews, our experience seems like others, insurance misrepresentation and harassment.
