Dr. David Doan was born and raised in Southern California. He received his undergraduate degree from UC Irvine and a DDS degree from University of California of San Francisco. Dr. Doan completed a one year residency program at McClellan Air Force Base in Sacramento.
It was always Dr. Doan's plan to practice dentistry in Southern California where he was raised. He is extremely happy to work together with a seasoned veteran dentist like Dr. Barm who has been in practice for 50 + years. Dr. Doan is very proud of the state-of-the-art technology and modern dental practices and techniques that he offers to our patients at Norwalk Dental Center.
Abby has been in the dental field for 33 years and is our Office Manager. She can help you with any questions or concerns you may have. She is Dr. Doan's right hand in running the front office and you will find her very friendly, knowledgeable and experienced.
Martha has been with us for 22 years and has been in the field of dentistry for over 34 years. She is a very experienced and knowledgeable Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) and her skills in general dentistry, dental implantology and orthodontics are outstanding. Always friendly and smiling, she is a great asset to our office.
Linda is an exceptional dental hygienist who has been with us for over 18 years. Very dedicated, knowledgeable and friendly, Linda is liked by all our patients and her skills are outstanding. She will take the time to teach you oral hygiene skills as well as help maintain a healthy smile.
Dr. Rodriguez is a dentist who works in our office as a dental hygienist. She too is very skilled, experienced and knowledgeable. Being both a dentist and a hygienist add to her abilities to give you a very comprehensive service. Always friendly and smiling, our patients love the results of her treatment.
Our newest addition to join our team is Stephany Torres she is our Insurance Specialist. As such she will answer any questions you may have regarding insurance Eligibility and Benefits and will take care of all your insurance needs. She is a great asset to our team.

I have been going to Norwalk Dental Center for the past two years. When I initially visited, it had been my first time at a dentist in 10 years because I had a bad experience as a teenager and never wanted to go back. Much work was to be done however, Dr. Doan created a personal and detailed plan for me. Through each procedure, he walked me through what he was doing in real time so I wasn't afraid. Fast forward two years later and I love going to the dentist! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Yadira is very helpful when it comes to scheduling my appointments. Dr. Rodriguez's passion and knowledge for oral hygiene makes me look forward to my twice a year cleanings. Thank you Norwalk Dental Center!

I've been treated by a number of fine dentists over the years, but I feel lucky to have found Dr. Doan. I've come to conclude that he and his highly experienced staff provide the best possible dental care available. The work they do starts with Dr. Doan's knowledge and skill in performing advanced dental techniques while also minimizing pain. Then they add honesty and fairness in billing plus a very friendly atmosphere among the staff. The team not only solves dental problems, but also ensures your teeth end up looking great too. No dental practice can be top-notch without a superior staff of hygienists, technicians, dental assistants, and insurance experts like they have here. Having been to several dental offices, I have a good idea of what I expect. Front desk was pleasant and accommodating. Clinical exam was thorough and articulated honestly. Cleaning was exactly what I expect for a good cleaning. I personally don't care if it hurts alil because I know that means they are working. I hardly ever floss and this is a fact. You can bank on it I've had previous cleanings where it felt like a waste of time because there was more focus on brushing and not really cleaning the pockets/gum line/tarter build up. So if you're looking for a dental office that does everything right then this is the place to try. And lastly, no upselling of trying to sell you products which is a personal pet peeve of mine.

Best Dental experience you could ever ask for!! I've been seeing the same dentist since I was a kid for the last 20 years - but since we moved I started coming here. I hate going to the dentist and am SUPER anxious about getting X-Rays and seeing the dentist in general. The staff, knowing this, were REALLY friendly, warm, and welcoming. They were so calm and re-assuring about the process and procedures. The dentist literally everything you could ask for - he was such a professional. Definitely recommend this place!!

Absolutely amazing service. I grew up terrified of the Dentist. I have severe depression episodes, because of that I have not taken care of my self for extended periods of time oral health wise. If you know, you know. I was always belittled, and criticized by many dentists. When it came to pain I was never fully listened to, and not numbed properly. I always felt majority of the pain from past procedures at other offices. After having that experience so many times I stopped going to the dentist for 5 years. My oral health suffered, because of that choice. I finally got the help I needed for my mental health, and it gave me the courage to go back to the dentist. I found Norwalk Dental Center, and every member of the staff is AMAZING. I so far have had 2 extractions, and 3 Bone Grafts. I felt comfortable enough to almost fall asleep in the chair while Dr. David Doan finished my last Bone Graft. I want to say thank you to Dr. David, and the entire staff, for being so kind and understanding. If you have a fear, or hesitation with Dentists PLEASE give this staff a chance to change your mind .

Wonderful office, every one is so nice and treated me really well. The doctor was transparent with what I needed vs what was an optional choice for me. This was definitely a better experience than my last dentist.

I love it here! I moved to Anahiem and refuse to look for another dentist! Dr. David is super friendly and the best dentist I have ever had. Everyone in that office is so friendly. Will chat with you. Check on you. Feels like visiting friends and getting your teeth checked/cleaned all at the same time!

I trusted Dr Barme for my smile makeover. He crowned almost every single tooth in my mouth and place 6 implants. Ever since then, I have had nothing but problems. I never had cavities or problems with my front teeth before, but now my teeth are fracturing one after the other. He is very aggressive in his crowns and how much teeth he shaves. So far my four front top teeth have had to be extracted because his crowns and my teeth are breaking to the gum line. My new dentist has told me the other crowns have openings under them, and to prepare for those as well. Two implants he placed were a waste. I've seen two doctors after him that said that they cannot put crowns on the implants because they were placed too much at an angle, too close to each other. You may be saving some money to see him now, but you will have to spend a lot more in the future to fix all his bad dental work.

I had such a great experience at this office. I came in for a consultation and a cleaning. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. David and Linda, the hygienist, were so good at explaining the work they were doing and making sure I had a full understanding of what to expect. My whole experience was so smooth. From checking in to checking out, scheduling future appointments, and breaking down the numbers to see what would be more cost effective. I can't praise Norwalk Dental Center enough. Thank you all for providing such a welcoming environment. I look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Just finished my first dental visit with Norwalk Dental Center. Disclaimer, it has been 2 years since my last visit to a dentist! Found great reviews about the practice and thought I would give Norwalk Dental Center a try. I went in quite nervous, as anyone would be (after not visiting the dentist in so long). Despite my concerns, I am very happy to actually say that all of the doctors and medical staff whom I met with today exceeded my expectations!! From check-in to check out, I knew I made the right decision to come here, as Yadira (chief of the front desk..very friendly and polite!), Martha (very friendly and professional x-ray tech), Dr. Rodriguez (great listener, kind and exceptional technique with cleaning!) and Dr. Doan (great listener, kind and gave a thorough/clear review of my overall dental health/x-ray results) all made me feel welcome and comfortable throughout my entire visit! They all did a great job at settling my nerves and connecting with me as a human FIRST before proceeding to treat me as their patient. Entering in, the practice was very professional, modern and very clean! NO issues pulling up insurance. Yadira and staff were prepared to help me quickly take care of my paper work and I was taken back immediately after! I must say, after not visiting the dentist in so long, I expected to share with you all a typical dentist visit horror story, but this was NOT the case with my visit here at Norwalk Dental Center. I am very grateful to have been under the care of a great team at this office. I will certainly be coming back here for all of my future dental work. A big thank you again to, Yadira and staff at the front desk for squeezing me into very full books as a first time patient, confirming the appointment with me multiple times via call and message reminders and for taking care of my insurance WELL before the date of my visit! Thank you to Martha for creating a calming conversation with me when I sat down in the exam chair and for capturing excellent images of my teeth. Thank you to Dr. Rodriguez for doing an exceptional job with my cleaning (my teeth and gums are feeling and looking great!) and for sharing great advice regarding flossing/brushing technique, toothpaste options and more. Lastly, a thank you to Dr. Doan, for being an exceptional communicator and for informing me about what I should expect out of my first visit when I entered the room and for setting up a clear future expectation of me for when I return in 6 months. Absolutely love the my dentist here. They are very well organized, everyone is well coordinated and so friendly here they make you feel welcomed and relaxed. My dentist really clearly explains my procedures step by step so I understand what is happening. Makes me feel calm because I am one of the ones that hates going to the dentist but ever since I have been coming here I Love it !!! Just today came in to get my wisdom tooth pulled out was nervous as heck, express it to my dentist he spent the time calming me down got my wisdom tooth pulled out it was quick easy and painless. I totally recommend coming here.
