Dr. Murphy has been a dentist for over 20 years. He went to college at Virginia Tech, and is a huge Hokie fan. After dental school at the Medical College of Virginia, he completed an AEGD residency in the US Air Force. After finishing active duty, he moved back to Virginia with his very expectant wife, Tara.

He had his own practice in Virginia for 10 years before he met Dr. Satterwhite from Phillips, WI. After some family discussions, Tara and Mike decided to sell the Virginia practice and move back to Taras hometown in the Northwoods in 2011. With a passion for dental implants, he has immersed himself into continuing education with over 1000 hours, and over 300 of that specifically to dental implants. He is a Diplomate in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. McMannes grew up in Woodbury, MN, a suburb of St. Paul. After that, he attended North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND for his BS in Zoology. Then he went to Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee where he graduated in 2019.

Dr. McMannes is passionate about dentistry. He is a member of the Wisconsin Dental Association and American Dental Association. He has learned a lot about how dentistry is changing on the technological side and is looking forward to bringing those skills to the community in Rice Lake. Caring for patient's individual needs with compassion and kindness is one of his top priorities.

Dr. Anna Goetz has wanted to practice dentistry since elementary school. After growing up in Hartford, WI, she pursued a biology degree at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM). Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Anna attended the Marquette University School of Dentistry and received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery.

Dr. Anna loves the practice of general dentistry and has a particular interest in endodontics, prosthodontics, and restorative dentistry. Passionate about patient care, Dr. Anna strives to ease her patients fears while providing honest, efficient, and compassionate dental care to achieve the most confident smiles. Dr. Anna is a member of the Wisconsin and American Dental Associations and is enthusiastic about continuing education coursework to provide her patients with the most innovative dental care.

Dr. Theresa grew up in Park Falls, WI. Her interest in dentistry developed when she fell on the ice and chipped her front teeth. After high school, she attended Chippewa Valley Technical College for dental assisting. While working her first job as a dental assistant, she found her passion to become a dentist. She attended the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire where she received a BS degree in biology. Dr. Theresa continued her journey to become a dentist by receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry.

Born in Texas to a military family Dr. Callie has resided in Washington state and Iowa where she found a love for playing sports and the outdoors. She attended the University of Iowa obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

Mindy is a receptionist at Northwoods Dentistry. She has been working for Northwoods since 2012, making sure their patients are comfortable and well taken care of. Mindy grew up in the Kennan/Catawba area and graduated from Phillips High School. She attended UW-River Falls, where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, riding on the back of a motorcycle, and spending time with family. She is always ready to help and comes to work with a smile on her face!

Amy is a receptionist at Northwoods Dentistry. She has been working at Northwoods since January 2018. Amy grew up in Kennan and has lived in Prentice with her husband and two sons since 1995. She enjoys the learning aspect of her job, the amount of options for dental care that Northwoods offers, her Northwoods Dentistry family, and of course the patients.

Lori is a dental assistant at Northwoods Dentistry. Lori has been working with Northwoods Dentistry since 2011, making sure our patients are comfortable and well taken care of. Lori grew up in Alma, WI, but has lived in Kennan since 1989. In her spare time, Lori enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family.

Holly has lived in Phillips most of her life and loves this city because of its small-town charm. Holly's extensive education and dental background make her a valued team member, working as a dental assistant. She has been with Northwoods Dentistry since 2004 and enjoys helping the patients achieve the perfect smile. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Kirsten is a dental assistant at Northwoods Dentistry. She grew up in Phillips and graduated high school in 2019. She is currently working towards her BS degree in biology at Viterbo. She hopes to continue on to become a General Dentist. She is passionate about improving the quality of care for her community members and continues to give back to the community. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family members and friends on the water. Once finished with school, she hopes to come back to the area to continue care for the patients shes gotten to know over the last two years.

Lauren is a dental hygienist at Northwoods Dentistry. She has been providing preventive dental care with Dr. Murphy since 2011. Lauren grew up in Phillips and went to North Central Technical College in Wausau where she received her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 kids, running, and enjoying the Northwoods.

Tara is a dental hygienist. She has lived in Phillips since 2006 and grew up in Rib Lake. Tara received her Associate Degree from North Central Technical College in 1998. She is very passionate about her job and the well being of her patients. Tara is married with 2 children. In her spare time, she enjoys fishing, swimming, & boating. Family time at her cabin brings her a lot of joy.

Emily is a dental hygienist at Northwoods Dentistry. She has been working with Dr. Murphy since 2013. Emily grew up in Ogema and went to North Central Technical College receiving her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene, and a certificate in local anesthetic. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids in their country home outside of Ogema.

Michelle grew up in Duluth, Minnesota. She graduated from the College of St. Scholastica with a Biology Degree and attended North Central Technical College where she earned her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. Michelle is excited to be a part of the Northwoods dental team helping to provide custom, quality, compassionate dental care to patients of all ages. Throughout her career she has completed multiple continuing education courses on a variety of topics to help ensure Northwoods patients get the best care possible. In addition to being an active member of the Phillips Lions Club, Michelle has volunteered every year, since moving to Philips in 2002, for the Price County Seal a Smile program for which she was nominated and received a Jefferson Award. In her spare time, she enjoys golfing, hiking, camping and spending time at the family cabin.

Jennifer is the practice manager at Northwoods Dentistry. She works out of the Prentice business office, but travels to all five of Northwoods Dentistry's locations. Jenny grew up in Prentice and moved back in 2001 where she started working in the dental office that would eventually become Northwoods Dentistry. She has been working with Dr. Murphy since 2011. Jenny is passionate about continuing education, always striving for the best for herself and the team. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, music, and spending time with family, especially her husband and two children.

Marissa has lived in the Northwoods of Wisconsin her whole life. She loves the charm of the small town and being close to her immediate family. Marissa is the business manager at Northwoods Dentistry and her extensive background in customer service and management makes her a valued team member. After being in human resources and staffing for several years, Marissa decided to enter the dental industry to work with Dr. Murphy and his wonderful team of people she knows and trusts from the area. She brings a wealth of interpersonal skills and professionalism along with true client compassion and will be there to help you have the best dental experience possible.

Tina is the insurance coordinator at Northwoods Dentistry. She works at our Phillips location, but assists our Ladysmith, Medford, Park Falls and Rice Lake locations as well. She has worked for Northwoods since 2006. Tina lives in Phillips and enjoys being a grandma. She is a positive part of our team, and her knowledge and experience help many of our patients make the best decisions.

Kelly has lived in Park Falls since 1996. She moved here to raise her 3 children in a small-town environment. Kelly earned an Associates Degree in Accounting from WITI in Rice Lake. She worked for Dr. Bruce Klockow for 15 years as an office manager before Northwoods Dentistry bought his practice in 2015. In her spare time, Kelly enjoys reading, camping, crafts, and spending time with her 3 children.

Jeanine was born and raised in Butternut and has continued to work and live here in the Northwoods. She has had a variety of schooling and experience ranging from educational interpreting, middle school education and teaching, and working as a laboratory technician. Jeanine joined the Northwoods Dentistry team in 2018 and enjoys being part of a very enthusiastic, professional staff that works hard to provide the best standard of care to all dental patients.

Jeanine married her husband Bruce in 2018 and is a very proud mother of two beautiful children, Isaiah and Isabella. She most enjoys time spent with her family, working on the many home construction projects with her husband, and attending all of her ambitious and very talented children's school activities, sports games and concerts. When there is time, she enjoys hiking, biking, reading and enjoying a warm campfire on beautiful star-lit night.

Whitney is a dental assistant at the Park Falls office. She joined the team in June of 2019. Whitney was born and raised in Park Falls and currently resides in Butternut with her boyfriend Luke and their dog Gus. In her leisure time she enjoys kayaking, swimming, boating and spending time with her friends and family.

Chelby is a dental assistant at Northwoods Dentistry in Park Falls. She has been working at Northwoods Dentistry since January 2021. She grew up in Prentice and graduated in 2019 from Prentice High School. Chelby was recently married in July 2021. She loves to be busy outdoors with friends and family. She especially loves being on the water, swimming, fishing, kayaking, and boating.

Ashley is a dental hygienist at Northwoods Dentistry. She has been working with the team since 2015, making sure their patients are comfortable and well taken care of. Ashley grew up in Park Falls and went to University of Wisconsin Green Bay, receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. She later attended Northcentral Technical College for dental hygiene. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and crafting.

Hannah is a dental hygienist and has been working with Northwoods Dentistry since 2015. Born and raised in the Butternut/Park Falls area she is excited to provide her services to her hometown area. Hannah started off her dental career after high school working as a dental assistant for three years while pursuing her dental hygiene degree. She attended Nicolet Area Technical College and obtained her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2015. She graduated top of her class with a perfect score on her state exam and was awarded the Hu-Friedy Gold Scaler Award. In her spare time Hannah enjoys spending time with her family, hunting, fishing and camping.

Brenda joined the Northwoods Dentistry team in 2016. She is the friendly face you are greeted by at our front desk in Ladysmith. Brenda is passionate about getting to know our patients and making sure they receive quality service and positive attention from our front office. Brenda's goal is to incorporate her wealth of knowledge in customer service that she has acquired over the years, to best serve our team and our amazing patients. Her outstanding professionalism along with her heart-felt compassion will be here to help bring out your best smile! Brenda has enjoyed growing up and raising her beautiful family here in the Northwoods.

Tara has 25 plus years of experience in the dental field. She loves helping people, and her friendly and fun-loving personality makes patients feel comfortable and welcome. Outside of the office, Tara enjoys fishing, camping, softball, hunting agates, and spending time with her family and friends.

Nichole is a dental assistant at Northwoods Dentistry. She has been working with our team since 2018 and enjoys making sure that their patients are well taken care of. Nichole grew up in Holcombe and went to Chippewa Valley Technical College to receive her dental assistant certification. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends. She is always ready to help and comes to work with a smile on her face!

Jade started her dental assisting career in 2017 after graduating from the dental assistant program at CVTC. She joined Northwoods Dentistry in 2020. She enjoys hunting and fishing, spending time hiking and kayaking, and taking her dogs on walks. Jade likes being able to walk the patients through procedures and make them feel comfortable about coming back in to get treatment.

Meagan began her profession in 2005 after graduating from North Central Technical College and has been a Dental Hygienist with Northwoods Dentistry since 2016. Her own love for visiting the dentist ultimately led her to choose this career path and she carries on believing that creating a positive experience for patients can make a huge impact. Meagan strives to provide gentle yet thorough cleanings and enjoys working with her patients every day.Meagan grew up in Hawkins and now resides in Bruce with her family. She enjoys reading and spending time with her family and friends in her spare time.

Gina is a registered dental hygienist and a native to Rice Lake. She attended Kellogg Community College in Battle Creek, MI, and obtained her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2008. She truly loves her work in dentistry and has a heart for every patient that she treats. When not working you can find her with her family, either on the farm, at the lake water skiing or kayaking, watching movies, taking in a concert or school sports. She looks forward to working with patients here at Northwoods Dentistry.

Sandi is the office manager at Northwoods Dentistry. She was born and raised in the Medford area. After high school, Sandi attended UW Marathon. Uncertain if the dental field was the area she wanted to study, she took a job as a dental assistant. She has been in the field for over 40 years and has made it a career. Sandi's goal is to make sure our patients are treated well and happy to come back to Northwoods Dentistry. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, along with curling, shopping and cooking.

Amanda is a dental assistant at Northwoods Dentistry. Amanda has been an assistant since 2009 and has worked for Northwoods Dentistry since 2017. She always makes sure their patients are comfortable and informed about their dental needs. Amanda grew up in Rib Lake and resides there with her husband, Brandon and son Chet. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family. Amanda enjoys cheering on her husband during baseball season and traveling with him and Chet during the summer league. Amanda loves what she does, and it shows in her interactions with patients and her ability to make them feel well taken care of.

Shelbie has been a dental assistant since 2016 and has loved every minute of it. She grew up in a small country town in California and moved to the Medford area in 2019 where she lives with her husband and 2 children. In her spare time, she enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending family time around a bonfire. She really enjoys helping her patients achieve their dream smile.

Michelle got her Dental Hygiene degree in 2005 after she went back to school later in life. She enjoys the one on one interaction and education with her patients. Michelle has two grown children and lives in Medford with her husband. She enjoys gardening, kayaking, snowshoeing...really anything outdoors!

Tracy is a dental hygienist at Northwoods Dentistry. She has been working at Northwoods since 2017. Tracy is passionate about her job, making sure her patients are comfortable, informed, and well taken care of. Tracy grew up in Medford and went to Northcentral Technical College in Wausau, where she received her associate degree in dental hygiene. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, curling and watching her children play sports. She is always ready to help and comes to work with a smile!

Kris was born and raised in Medford. Upon graduating from UW-Stevens Point, she returned to Medford and pursued a career in social services, working primarily with older adults and individuals with intellectual and/or physical disabilities. After many years, Kris decided it was time for a career change and employment at Northwoods Dentistry was the perfect fit. In her free time, Kris enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She enjoys being outside, going for walks, and swimming. Her favorite activities include traveling with her daughter and watching her son play baseball at Viterbo University and with the Whittlesey Reds.

Alex joined Northwoods Dentistry as the Office Manager in 2020. She grew up in Rice Lake and moved home in 2017 after spending the majority of 11 years in the Twin Cities. She loves spending time with her husband and 2 sons and enjoys golfing and kayaking. She loves being in the office where she gets to spend her time with a wonderful team that works to make every patient's day a little bit better.

Kaitlyn joined Northwoods Dentistry in 2021 as a patient coordinator in our Rice Lake location. Prior to her joining the team, she was a stay at home mom for almost a year. When she's not working, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and other family. They especially enjoy camping and swimming in the summertime. Besides working for Northwoods, Katilyn owns a small business called Beads and Tees Co.

Maren grew up in Barron, WI, and joined the Northwoods Dentistry team in 2019. With her big smile and caring attitude, she strives to bring positivity and comfort to Northwood's patients and team. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors camping, hunting, hiking, and water skiing with her family and friends.

Nikki joined the Northwoods Dentistry team in 2020. She grew up in Illinois and has lived in Wisconsin since 2012. She graduated from Wisconsin Indian Head Technical College with a degree in Dental Assisting in 2014. In her spare time, Nikki enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. She also loves crafting, including making hair bows and earrings.

Crystal is a Registered Dental Hygienist that works in our Rice Lake location. In 2008, she graduated from the University of South Dakota with her Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene. She has lived and worked throughout the Midwest in a variety of dental offices. In 2017, she and her husband decided to settle in northwest Wisconsin for a place to call home. They enjoy exploring the outdoors and showing their son all the fun activities that Wisconsin has to offer. Crystal brings experience and a smiling face to work every day. She is compassionate and caring and looks forward to creating long-lasting relationships with everyone at Northwoods.
