Kristin joined Northwoods Dental Group in March of 2020. She is fairly new to Columbus and grew up in the Youngstown area. She graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene and obtained her Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) license.
Kristin enjoys getting to know her patients and helping them with their dental health. She is an avid country music fan and attends many concerts. She lives with her german shepard puppy Cappie and her cat Weasly.
For the last four years she has worked in offices in Grand Rapids, MI, Toledo, OH, and now back home in Columbus, OH. This fall she will also finish her Bachelor of Science in Allied Health, with the goal to be an educator one day! Lainey is very active in the American Dental Hygienists Association and is currently the Secretary for the Ohio Dental Hygienists Association. She is very passionate about patient education and giving her patients the best care possible. In her free time, Lainey enjoys spending time with her friends and family, playing piano, and taking her dogs Mia and Riley to the park!
Mindy graduated with honors in 2002 from the Ohio State University with a Bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene. She joined our team right after graduating and loves what she does! She loves being able to see her patients every six months and catch up with them; being with our practice for so long has allowed her to develop strong friendships with her patients and follow many families throughout the years. Every day, Mindy does her best to ensure that each patient is comfortable and relaxed while in her dental chair. Mindy believes that, despite past experiences or habits, no one should feel ashamed or intimidated when trying to get their smile back on the right track. Mindy is compassionate and helps her patients know that she is there to help them in any way possible.
Vanessa joined our practice in April of 2021 as Patient Coordinator. She is happy to help you schedule your dental visit, explain your insurance, financial options and update your patient information. She has worked in the service industry for over five years and will always greet you with a warm welcome when you check in for your visit.
Aleesa joined our team as office manager in May of 2021. Aleesa has been in the dental field for over seven years and brings with her a wealth of dental practice management information. She is happy to assist you with any questions you may have with your treatment, financial options or insurance questions. She especially enjoys helping patients with insurance benefits and comfortable financial arrangements.
She was born and raised in the Columbus area, graduating from the Dental Assisting Program at Eastland Career Center in 2014, where she obtained her Certified Ohio Dental Assisting (CODA) and Ohio Dental Radiographers license.
Sierra joined our practice in February of 2021. She completed her dental assisting program at Fairfield Career Center in 2019. She works chairside with Dr. Klabunde, but you will see her around our clinical area making sure the team has everything they need throughout the day. She is a bundle of energy and has a lot of care and compassion for our patients and her team members.
Cheyenne joined the Northwoods Dental Group team in January 2022 as our Clinical Team Leader. She is a 2015 graduate of the Eastland Career Center Dental Assisting Program where she earned her Certified Ohio Dental Assistant (CODA) and Ohio Dental Radiographers License. Cheyenne has been a clinical dental assistant since graduation and enjoys getting to know her patients and making sure they are well informed and comfortable with the treatment they are receiving.
