Dr. Karl graduated from the University of Iowa Dental School and received his post graduate training in periodontics at Tufts Dental School. Dr. Karl has been past president of The Hartford Dental Society, Connecticut Society of Periodontics, and has served on numerous committees for The American Academy of Periodontology.
He has served as assistant clinical professor in the graduate periodontics department at Tufts Dental School as well as the University of Connecticut Dental School and has also been a featured speaker at The American Academy of Periodontology.
I am truly blessed to live and work in such a wonderful community. After attending college at New York University, I received my dental training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
I really love being a dentist. It has always been my focus to make each patient feel at home when they come to me for treatment, and I work hard to give my patients the attention they deserve. We can always do more for you, and its my goal to make sure were doing our best to provide the best care possible for you and to do it in a genuine way with warmth, courtesy, and respect.
Dr. Ona Liu was born and grew up on New York City. She attended University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. While attending dental school, she participated in multiple international dental outreach missions to help the underserved in countries such as Senegal and the Dominican Republic.
Hello and thanks for taking the time to read about me! I have grown up in our wonderful community practicing and providing dentistry in the greater Winsted area since 1983. My passion is to provide the highest quality dental care for my patients and to get to know and care for you and your family.
I earned my doctoral degree in general dentistry from the University of Connecticut. I love our state and especially its Northwestern corner; it is a part of who I am, and I love being a part of this active community.
When I have free time, I love spending time in the outdoors in the winter I instruct downhill skiing at Butternut and in the summer, I waterski and hike in our nearby area. I am blessed to have my lovely wife Dawn, who has supported me all these years, and last but certainly not least, our two dogs.

A graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dental Medicine, Dr.Livingstonehas had articles published both locally and nationally, has spoken before numerous audiences, is an ex-director and board member of the Society for Occlusal Studies, and has appeared on a number of radio and television shows on the subject of holistic dentistry.

Had a filling fall out. They said don't worry, you can wait a few months to cap it. 2 weeks later tooth broke. Lost tooth!! Wanted to charge my 6 grand to put a post in etc. Another tooth chipped, they said they'd crown it asao. 2 months of wearing an Ill fitting temp that keep falling off and 4 visits later , I was PUSHED into excepting a crown that was too short. The girl there, NOT A DENTIST, kept saying " it looks great, while covering up how short it was. When I demanded to see it without her hand it the way and saw how bad it looked, she said if you don't accept this it will be 6 months before you can get another one and you run the risk of breaking the tooth and looking another toith. Don't go there! If you see a dentist there you might be ol, but they hire people without degrees to do most of the mock ups, so the shape , color and size is TERRIBLE !!!!

Going to this dentist is always so relaxing! Yes relaxing! With every room a different nature-quiet, calming videos playing, either of birds or waterfalls or something beautiful, I always feel relaxed. The hygienist is just talkative enough to feel like you have know her for ages. The Dentist himself, is always kind and says thank you. Though I have only needed cleanings so far, I know when I need more, I will be relaxed enough to not be stressed.I'm glad I found you!

Very pleased with the service I received today. Had a problem with an old filling, but Dr. Dannon made the time to see me right away and diagnose the problem. Was very appreciative that I was able to get the appointment on very short notice.

A pleasant dentist's office. There are lots of nice calming things around. Videos of nature in all the rooms. Kids paintings on the ceiling tiles. A lot of attention has gone into putting people who may have anxiety at ease. Definitely affordable too. Staff are kind and attentive. The doctor talks a little fast, but if you go in knowing that, he's easy enough to keep up with.

Highly professional, kind, pleasant, and very friendly. The dental hygienist was wonderful and the exam was comprehensive. It was a relaxing experience, the doctor was excellent, and a treatment plan was set up. I was very happy with the visit.
