Dr. Patel is a board-certified pediatric dentist who received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas in 1998. After dental school, she attended a one-year General Practice Residency set in the pediatric clinic at the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City. She then completed her pediatric dental residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and was an educator in the pediatric curriculum at Columbia University while in NY. Dr. Patel moved back to her home state of Texas when she joined Northwest Pediatric Dental in 2004 and has grown with the practice and her patients. She practices early prevention and diagnosis of dental health problems as well as sedation dentistry. Dr. Patel is on staff at Houston Northwest Hospital and performs many full mouth dental rehabilitation cases for young children. In her free time, Dr. Patel enjoys spending quality time with her son and daughter engaging in sporting activities, traveling, and reading.
