Christina Bukata, DMD grew up in Parkland, Florida and knew she wanted to be a dentist by the time she was in the 4th grade. She attended Harriet L Wilkes Honors College of FAU and then continued on to the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Graduating from UFCD allowed her exposure to many specialty dental programs, including an implant center. Dr. Bukata is a member of many dental organizations including the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Bukata loves doing volunteer work. She has been involved in local initiatives to provide dental care to underserved populations through FreeDOM Clinic and Gainesville Ministry Clinic. She has also been overseas in Quito and Ambato, Ecuador serving the community with much needed dental care. She is also an active Childrens Miracle Network Ambassador.
Dr. Bukata enjoys collaborating with patients to create and maintain healthy and happy smiles. She finds it rewarding to witness a patient with dental anxiety become comfortable and excited about dental care. Some of her favorite procedures to perform are restorative, prosthodontic and cosmetic dentistry. She loves photography, videography, and graphic design art. She also enjoys being outdoors, playing chess, local thrift store shopping, and spending time with her friends and family.
