Doctor Eric Carlson and his team are nothing short of amazing! They worked with my busy schedule and at every visit made sure that I was comfortable. I've had nothing but great experiences going here. If I could give a 10 star I would.

First time visiting Northwest Family Dental to see Dr. Eric Carlson after my sister had referred me to him. I had interactions with Kelly, Chelsey & Dr. Eric, and all were very friendly & helpful! Appointment went great and they got my tooth fixed up in short order! I'd highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a great dental office in St. Michael and the surrounding areas!

Dr. Eric Carlson is the Best Dentist! And his staff is always nice and friendly! My husband and I have been going to this dentist office for years. Very professional and knowledgeable team.

This is the best dentist I have ever been to. I just got home, and had to write a review right away because I was so impressed. I am usually extremely anxious at appts, but Amy put me at ease more than anyone has before, and Dr. Carlson was extremely thorough. Both were also very patient, I never felt rushed. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know!

This is the best dentist I have ever been to. I just got home, and had to write a review right away because I was so impressed. I have been going to them for years & they are beyond AWESOME!! They are the most professional, courteous, competent & kindest staff that I have ever met! They make you feel like family! Dr. Carlson and his crew are completely professional, yet completely personal. If your searching for a dentist, search no more! On a side note, I have NEVER had any pain associated with any of my procedures.

I whole-heartedly recommend Dr. Eric Carlson to anyone in the Twin Cities area looking for an honest, knowledgeable, genuinely kind, caring dentist. Our entire family has been seeing him and his staff for years and we couldn't be happier. He walked me through all the normal "mom worries" about what to do about crazy crooked teeth, knowing when/if it's time for braces, and how to handle the dreaded cavities like a pro. My kids all love Dr Carlson and his staff and we actually look forward to going to the dentist because they make it such a positive experience. I've seen many dentists over the years and maybe you have too: crabby ones, ones that make you feel rotten about your hygiene, ones that are not gentle, ones that say you have a bunch of cavities when you don't (Seriously! I didn't believe that could happen until it did!)... and Dr Carlson is the complete opposite of all of those. He's a breath of fresh air when it comes to taking care of smiles. I know I can trust him to tell the truth and be honest about what's happening with my teeth. If something doesn't NEED to be filled or worked on, he keeps it real and is open to suggesting a "wait and see" approach, which seems like a rare find to me in the world of dentists. I always feel like he keeps me well informed. He's wonderful at explaining things and working with patients to decide together what's best for them individually. His staff is uplifting and positive to be around... from the front desk, to the hygienists, to Dr Carlson himself... it's obvious they love what they do and they do it all very well. It's a smaller office with a family feel. They're always running on time, happy to help with scheduling questions or figuring out what's covered by insurance. Dr. Carlson's office is a place where the staff make going to the dentist easy and enjoyable. They're a quick drive up 94 from anywhere in the metro. Check them out - you're only regret may be that you didn't find them sooner! :)

Like many people, I avoid the dentist. In fact, I did for about 10 years--that is, until my mouth bothered me enough to finally make an appointment. I was nervous to go because I was embarrassed and didn't want to be lectured for my absence. However, my visit at Northwest Family Dental Center was the complete opposite. Dr. Eric Carlson and his dental assistant were unbelievably friendly, down-to-earth, caring, and made me feel completely comfortable. After my first visit, I was told I would need to return for two more appointments to compete the process--and I actually did. That's saying a lot! I was also very pleased with the help I received from the women working the front desk. She walked me through the insurance process I typically would have had no understanding of and was always a kind face to see. One things for sure, I won't be waiting another decade to visit this location!

We have been going to Northwest Family Dental for the past couple of years and we have had very positive experiences. The staff is friendly and the dental care is among the best quality we have received. Dr. Eric and his staff have integrity and honesty and care for their patients well!
