Prior to receiving his specialty Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in 1995 for Endodontics from Boston University, Dr. Penberthy was a Dentist in solo practice for five years at Post Falls Family Dental. He is active in the community and can be found spending time with his wife Kelly, three adult children and three grandchildren on his ranch south of Stateline, ID.
Brittney grew up in Post Falls and graduated from Gonzaga Prep High School. She attended Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Creighton Dental School and then completed an AEGD residency through Lutheran Medical Center in Billings. Upon completion of her AEGD residency, she began her endodontic residency at Texas A&M Dental School in Dallas, Tx.
Dr. Brittney Penberthy is an Endodontist specialist with extensive training in cone beam CT Scan reading and diagnosis. Brittney has been recently board certified with the American Board of Endodontists. Brittney is one of three board-certified Endodontists in Idaho and the only female Board Certified Endodontist in Idaho.

I had a root canal done on Friday 7-15-22. Everyone was awesome They got me in quickly and did the work with almost no pain. It fixed the issue I was having. I can't say enough about how well I was take care of. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks so much Keith Butler

This was easily the best dental experience I've had in more than 30 years. The provider (Brittney) was thorough and patient, carefully explaining every element of the procedure and making sure my anxious teenager felt very comfortable. I cannot recommend this place enough. I am so thankful we found this place!

Dr. TIm Is the most relational health professional I have encountered, and I am 70 . I was dreading my first root canal, and he made the experience very positive and comfortable. He took time to educate me on the procedure, and was very attentive during the actual process. His sense of humor is refreshing; he kept me laughing much of the time. He is simply the best, and the office is beautiful & the staff welcoming.

Went in a little nervous for my first root canal and it ended up being a blast. Timothy and his lovely assistant, Viktoriya, made me feel very comfortable. I laughed a lot without any laughing gas.

I couldn't be more effusive in my praise for Northwest Endodontics. Every staff member was outstanding in dealing with patients. Dr Brittney Penberthy was simply brilliant in her work. Let me start by saying what an outstanding dentist Dr. Tim Penberthy is. I was seen for a consultation regarding three different teeth. Dr. Penberthy took the time to make sure I understood everything that was going on and what my best options were. He showed me my scans in depth and even drew on paper what was occurring. I have never left a dentist office feeling more knowledgeable about what's going on with my teeth. I take excellent care of my teeth, but unfortunately, I always have something major going on. I'm very prone to root canals. Unfortunately, I need quite a bit of work done that will take some time but I couldn't be happier than to complete the work with Dr. Penberthy. For someone like myself who struggles with dentistry, it's so comforting and refreshing to have such a caring, knowledgeable dentist on your side. I anticipate nothing but wonderful work to be done in the coming weeks. An added bonus, he's so funny! I laughed for most of my consultation which made the bad news easier to bear :)

This was my first root canal and was unsure of the procedure, Dr. Penberthy was very informative and walked me through the entire process before starting anything. He made sure to check on any discomfort and discussed next steps throughout. The quote I was given was spot on and actually ended up coming out on the lower end of the quote. I'm on day 2 and feeling better than expected. Highly recommend!

I was terrified. Had a big deal cut gum open replace bone procedure to go through. I had so much fun. Really. Tim & his staff are just plain fun. All I remember is the laughter and the best shots EVER. My husband said it seemed like an hour of laughter & 10 minutes of procedure. Felt like that to me too! I cannot recommend Tim & his staff highly enough. I still smile when I think of them. Oh yeah he did an excellent job. I was hoping for at least a black eye & some bruising. Nothing..... Go. You won't be disappointed.

I needed to bring my daughter in for a root canal and I so appreciate the thoroughness given in the explanation in what was going to take place. All the staff are very kind and personable. Although, I don't know about the outcome of the work I do have confidence that it will be outstanding.

Dr Tim Penberthy was outstanding . Extremely thorough and provided detailed explanations. He has a light hearted demeanor which made an unpleasant procedure a lot more bearable. He studied at Boston University, the premiere Endodontics program in the US and it showed. The procedure was quick and relatively painless. High recommend this office.

They charge for consultation and a CBCT for 260 dollars. They made us take the fancy x-ray anyway even if we just did X-ray from another doctor. If you don't want to see a bill over 200 bucks for a checkup, stay away.
