Dr. Peter A. Ruff has been serving Bremertonand the surrounding communities for more than 40 years. Dr. Ruff graduated from the University of Detroit's Mercy School of Dentistry with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1974. Hewent on to complete a general practice residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in 1975 before serving three years in the U.S. Air Force.
After leaving the service, Dr. Ruff opened his private practice, Northwest Dental Healthcare. Since then, he has completed a two-month fellowship in IV sedation at the Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York;obtained a mastership in IV and all forms of moderate sedation from the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology;and earneda fellowship in the International Association of Oral Implantology, and membership with the American Academy of General Dentistry.
The most rewarding part of Dr. Ruffs job is hearing that his patients have had a good experience at ourdental office. He loves to please patients and help them feel as comfortable as possible while theyre inhis care. Dedicated to providing his patients with stress-free dentistry, Dr. Ruff has completed numerous hours of continuing education and dedicates his time to learning more about relieving dental anxiety and fears. In 1997, he founded the North West Dental Fears Research center in order to study the origins and treatment on dental anxiety and fear.

Loretta is a talented, dedicated dental hygienist here at Northwest Dental Healthcare. She has19 years in the dental field, so you can trust that Loretta has the skills and know-how to give your teeth exactly what they need! Loretta loves being able to educate her patients about how tocare for their teeth well. She wants patients to understand that the health of your mouth can affect the health of your entire body!

She has been working in dentistry for nearly two decades, and you will benefit from her expertise and experience! When she is not answering the phones at the office she is spending timewith her two girls and husband. She enjoys 'treasure hunting', watching her family play softball and cooking with her youngest daughter.

I honestly can't say enough good things about Dr. Ruff and his office. As someone who has struggled with dental anxiety and TMJD, I was nervous to start at a new dentist. After 2 years of working with Dr. Ruff my dental anxiety has gotten dramatically better. He is really easy to work with and goes above and beyond to make your experience comfortable. I highly recommend Northwest Dental Healthcare.

If one has to go to the Dentist, there is none better. My family and I have been patients of Dr. Ruff for 12+ yrs (how time flies). His staff is always courteous and friendly, the wait area clean and free wi-fi for yourself or the kids. He's always very smiles and friendly and love that he stays up with current trends and technology in the Dental community. He has the capability via 3D Printing to create a Crown or Tooth right there on site. I have recommended his practice to everyone I know. Lance Aubry
