Northwest Dental Center was opened in 2003 by Dr. Reza Nabaie in a stand-alone building surrounded by mature trees that create a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. We have plenty of free parking and are minutes from Swedish Edmonds Hospital.
Dr.Reza Nabaie attended Sammamish High School in Bellevue Washington. He always wanted to be a Husky so it was his calling to attend the University of Washington. While earning his bachelors degree at UW, he was also a member of the University of Washington rowing team. After considering many dental schools around the country, he stayed true to his roots and decided to attend the University of Washington School of Dentistry.
After obtaining his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the UW in 2000, he was invited to teach in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the UW of Washington. Currently he holds an Affiliate Associate Professor position in that department. Since graduating from the school of dentistry, Dr. Nabaie has been involved in many continuing education courses and study clubs around the country. He is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Pooya Darab grew up in Edmonds, where she graduated from Edmonds High school. She continued her education at University Of Washington and graduated with Bachelor of Science in Zoology. Upon graduating she continued her education at University Of Washington School Of Dentistry to earn Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree.
Dr. Darab has been practicing dentistry since 2000. She has been passionate about staying current with the ever changing field of dentistry by being involved in many continuing education courses and teaching at the Dental Hygiene and Assisting program at Lake Washington Institute of Technology.
When Dr. Darab is not caring for patients she loves to spend time with her family and her two active kids. She enjoys a range of activities including running, cross fit and skiing the slope of nearby mountains.
Duree started working as a dental assistant soon after high school and after 20 years she transitioned to being a receptionist. She believes each patient should have a warm, welcoming and pleasant experience. She enjoys spending time with her family, gardening and going to the ocean!
Jordan is a graduate of Eastern Washington University with a dual bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene and Exercise Science. When Jordan is not fighting periodontal disease she enjoys sports, hiking, and bodybuilding.
I was born and raised in Edmonds and love calling the Pacific Northwest home. I started in the dental field as an orthodontic assistant in 2015, where I discovered my passion for dentistry. I later received my associates of applied science in Dental Hygiene from PIMA Medical Institute. I enjoy fishing, hiking, and all things outdoors. In the summer you will find me somewhere in the forest camping with my dog Toby.
I started in the dental field in 1998. As a fully expanded duty assistant, I am well educated and trained in all aspects of general dentistry. One of the best things about my job is being able to help patients achieve a beautiful smile. In my spare time I like to read, roller blade, travel and spend time with my husband, family and friends.
I started working as a dental Receptionist/Patient Care Coordinator in 2017 and have learned a lot over the years. I graduated from Edmonds Community College with an associates degree in office supervision and management. I enjoy reading, baking, and spending time with my loved ones.

Had to get a cavity filled today. Last one was ages ago. Pleasantly surprised there was no pain, no discomfort and mo itchy numbness for hours afterward! Been a patient here for over 20 years and staff and dentists are all caring, conscientious and professional besides being genuinely nice people. Highly recommend!!!

My experience has always been positive and helpful - even with challenging dental issues. The Dentists are knowledgeable understanding and capable. The office ambiance is warm and friendly. Careful care, sanitary practices and universal precautions have always been applied. I hope they are in practice in our area for years to come!!!

I have been seen by CHC dentist and the Dr. in CHC made feel terrible , after my teeth bridge broken. As a result, I think since my insurance doesn't cover the root canal expenses so I should search about professional dentist who could solve my issues and fixing my teeth. So I found Dr. Reza has great reputation; and people write great comments, that encouraged me and I contact the clinic and this is my second visit to the clinic, everyone in this clinic friendly. Finally, I saw Dr. Raza who has very light hand, 0 pain when he work with my teeth. At the end, do not west your time by searching but call today and meet this amazing doctor and I am sure you will thank me latter

My elderly parents are new patients of Drs Reza and Darab. Every visit has been pleasant, as pleasant as a dental visit can be starting with the front desk to the dental assistants and the docs themselves. You can tell everyone is there to make the visit a success and as comfortable as possible. I would highly recommend this office to any and everyone in the Edmonds/Lynnwood area.

I visited Dr nabaie yesterday. The office personal was extremely sincere. I was impressed by Dr nabaie's well mannered personality, communication skills, greacfullness, politeness, fairness, and most importantly his abundant knowledge of Dental profession in all categories. We have been going to NW dental center for nearly 20 years. I would not trust anyone else with my kids' dental work. Super clean office, friendly staff, more importantly high quality of work from Dr Nabai. From root canals to crowns to simple fillings it has always been excellent. Thank you NW dental center for taking excellent care of my family for nearly 2 decades.

My 2nd visit post initial consultarion with Dr. Reza Nabaie for a crown was absolutely uneventful and most appreciated. Since I had a bad experience previously with a different dental practice, I was fragile and most worried. Dr. Nabaie was highly meticulous, highly mindful of ensuring I feel comfortable and not experience any pain. He was most gentle and skilled in ensuring no anxiety on my part. Furthermore, his Dental Assistant Olga was most comforting relieving my stress. Dr. Nabaie dedicated plenty time to not only prepare the tooth for a crown but also advised me of the optimal crown option most suitable for my teeth spacing. I'm looking forward to my follow up visit this coming week for the placement of the permanent crown #18.
