Eric Hansen, LD, of Northwest Dental, along with his late father, worked hard to develop his skills as a licensed denturist and to pass laws that recognized and regulated his profession in the state of Washington. Today, his skilled team which includes Jennifer Ra, DDS; Kathy Han, DDS; Cody Carson, LD; Melissa Brulotte, LD; and Farzad Khalili, LD; offers an extensive line of dentistry and denture services to patients of all ages in the northwest Washington area with five locations in Bellingham, Burlington, Arlington, and Everett.The licensed denturists, dentists, and dental hygienists are dedicated to providing state-of-the-art denture and dental services in a caring, friendly environment. The licensed denturists at Northwest Dental personally design, construct, and manufacture custom dentures on-site in their dental lab with the highest quality products. Ron Hansen started his career proudly serving his country in the Air Force. Once he finished serving, he returned to Whatcom County and, with help from the G.I. Bill, he was able to begin his training at Precision Dental Lab in Bellingham, Washington.
At the time, denturism was not recognized as a profession by the state of Washington, and denturists had to work alongside dentists in order to make dentures. Despite this setback, Ron wanted to work in his own lab and after his training was over he succeeded in starting his own dental lab. It wasnt long before it had grown enough that he was able to service dentists in both Whatcom and Skagit Counties. After his son, Eric, graduated high school and showed interest in dentures, the two of them set out to change the denture world.
Eric Hansen began his career as a denturist at a very young age, playing with wax in his fathers dental lab. After he graduated high school, he put the playing aside and worked alongside his dad in his new dental lab. The two of them attended Idaho State University and the Oregon Denturist College. They both became licensed denturists in 1988 after successfully passing their exams at the Oregon Denturist College and receiving their Denturist Licenses.
Soon after they achieved their licensing, Eric and Ron owned and operated a small denture clinic in Deming, Washington on the Nooksack Indian Reservation, as denturism was not yet recognized in the state of Washington. This became Eric and Rons next mission: to get denturism to be a recognized profession by the state. Teaming up with other denturists across the state, they worked together and successfully passed Initiative 607, which formally recognized and regulated the denturist profession.
Rodney Ron Hansen peacefully left us in January 2010 and will be remembered through his wife Michaele and his two sons, Eric and Jeff. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.

They are no good what so ever!! Each and every single employee that is employed at the Burlington,Wa., Northwest Dental are very RUDE!! It will now cost me $1,000's to fix what Northwest Dental did to me and my teeth!!! I would not even take my Cats there!!!!

Do not go here. Ruined my mouth and Teeth. I sent a dispute and I was ignored. A young person did the cosmetics and it was a joke. Thousands later they dont care or take accountability. Bham.

rude rude rude... left sitting in room 40 min... when tryed to ask question was snapped at by assitant told to wait for denturist... 40 min later were told he didnt know how long it would be... he was busy... we decided to leave and reschedule...when i called to reschedule i was told we wernt welcome to come back!!! was she treated this way because she has state insurance... not a big money maker for them??? dont tecommend if u dont like being poorly treated!!

Our family has been going here a few years now for anything from cleanings to crowns. They are amazing with my kids...and the adults! Their staff are friendly. Good at what they do. And the crown I just got today to replace an old, broken one feels so fancy and lovely.

As a medical professional I've had to take my clients to Northwest Dental for their denture needs. What I noticed was the way my clients were treated, it was with tremendous respect, professionalism and kindness. I knew that I would be needing a full set of new dentures soon as mine were over ten years old. I knew that Northwest Dental was where I was going to have my new dentures made due to my observations of the work and treatment of my clients. My new dentures fit like a glove and they look natural. I had to have implants in my lower jaw due to bone loss, so my lower denture had to fit just right. Don was able to accomplish this. He was really picky on how they looked and fit, for that I am extremely greatful. He instructed me on the proper care of my implants, something that was not told to me when I got them. I feel that Northwest Dental went above and beyond the norm. They truly care about their patients. I thank all of the team members for providing me with my "pearly whites". These babies are great! Had dentures made, people were nice, but trick you to sign acceptance form,right before final fitting, so when they don't fit correct, there is nothing you can do,and they tell you to go somewhere else, to get your new denture to fit correct. Denturist,take no pride in the work they perform. Would definitely not recommend,scammers!
