Dr. Norman Bunch, an exceptional dentist in Tucson, would like to welcome you to Northwest Childrens Dentistry. Dr. Bunch believes that a lifelong appreciation of oral health starts in childhood with prevention and good dental experiences. Dr. Bunch maintains a strong commitment to community involvement and staying up to date with the evolving specialty of pediatric dentistry.He is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and Pima Dental Study Club. He maintains his board certification through the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Previous community service activities include First Things First Regional Counsel Member (Northwest Tucson), Southern Arizona co-State Team Leader for Head Start,and activist for water fluoridation and dental care for underprivileged children in Washington State.
After practicing for five years in the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Bunch and his wife, Dr. Marshall, returned to Tucson, Arizona in 2008 to raise their growing family. Dr. Bunch was born and raised here in Tucson and is a graduate of Canyon del Oro High School.
Dr. Bunch enjoys sharing his free time with his wife and fellow Tucson, AZ dentist, Dr. Marshall, and their three sons. He is often found outdoors hiking, camping,or running. Dr. Bunch enjoys hunting, fishing, and outings with his sons. He also enjoys the rewards of practicing pediatric dentistry, especially contributing to a generation of children who enjoy visiting the dentist.
Dr. Jennifer Marshall is a board-certified pediatric dentist and is thrilled to welcome you and your family to Northwest Children's Dentistry. Her primary mission is to provide quality dental care for children in a caring environment. To that end, she emphasizes dental prevention to foster a lifelong appreciation of good oral health for children and their families.
Dr. Marshall received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1999 and Pediatric Dental specialty training with a Master of Science in Dentistry in 2004, both from the University of Washington. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and Pima Dental Study Club.She has written scholarly articles in jaw growth and autism in the field of pediatric dentistry.
When not at her dental office, Dr. Marshall can often be found volunteering for a variety of causes. She is a den leader for Cub Scouts, a board member for a local preschool, and an active member of the Parent Association for her childrens schools. She and her husband Dr. Norman Bunch, also a pediatric dentist, strongly emphasize time spent with their three children. Having grown up working on a farm in Idaho, she enjoys organizing her familys many outdoor and other physical activities. Her favorite pastime is reading, and she tries to curl up with a good book or listen to audiobooks whenever she can.

Claudeth began as an extern with Northwest Childrens Dentistry in 2013. She has a quiet demeanor and puts children and parents at ease with her soft-spoken voice. Although Claudeth started as a sterilization tech, her hard work and determination to always better herself has led her to be dual-trained in both assisting and front office management. I really enjoy working here with this wonderful staff that has taught me so much.
Fabi has been with Northwest Childrens Dentistry since it opened in 2008. She is a valuable and knowledgeable member of the team. Fabi has a tremendous amount of patience and is skilled at working with children and parents. She has trained many of our current staff and is definitely loved by everyone. It doesnt feel like work when Im spending time with children since I enjoy it so much.
Annie-Laurie began as an extern with Northwest Childrens Dentistry in 2010. She has a big heart and absolutely loves to spend time getting to know her patients and the parents. She is often seen smiling and laughing with the children. The best part of my job is seeing children have improved self esteem when their smiles have been improved and they have accomplished good oral health.
Michelle began her career with us at Northwest Childrens Dentistry in 2016. She came to us with years of experience as a dental assistant. Michelle has a knack for making everything look easy and fun. Children and parents are put at ease with her big smile and laid-back demeanor. Michelle also is our resident handy-person. She is the one using the power drill when things need to be hung up or repaired!
Desmarie started as an extern with Northwest Childrens Dentistry in 2020. We were immediately impressed with her when she came to work with us. Desmarie is a team player and has the perfect personality to work with children. While she has developed her skills quickly as an assistant, her skills with children come naturally. I love working with children and teaching them the importance of good oral hygiene.
Jonasstarted as an extern with Northwest Childrens Dentistry in 2021. While he is new to the practice, he and his family are well-known to many in the office and we are thrilled to have him as a team member. He brings a fresh outlook as an assistant and is quickly becoming skilled working with children and their families. Jonas plans to continue his career in dentistry and has accepted a position in the dental hygiene program. 'I always enjoyed my experience as a patient and want to be able to deliver the same kind of care for others.'
Northwest Childrens Dentistry has served Tucsons infants, children, teens, and youths with special needs since 2008. The greatest honor, we feel, is how our practice has grown through referrals from current and former families. Very friendly and patient staff! Dr. Bunch was very thorough and had a game plan for my son by the end of the appointment. My oldest son is borderline autistic and youngest has adhd. I was a very nervous mom, and was afraid of how this appointment was going to go. Nevertheless, we left NW very happy. My boys had a great experience and I will recommend this wonderful team.

I have been taking my 3 kids to NW Childrens Dentristry for at least 8 years and have been happy with the quality of care we've received. Two of my children were referred to an orthodontist with a concern for possible palate expansion to accommodate permanent teeth growing in. With Dr Bunch's referral we saved tons of time in braces later as their subsequent extractions and early ortho helped keep my kid's teeth to stay in line better and made it easier to maintain healthy smiles. And they told my college kiddo she could come in when she was home for holidays which she appreciated. Thanks guys!

Very friendly and welcoming staff. The hygienist demonstrated every piece of equipment and got my son playing along and excited to have his teeth cleaned, where he usually won't let anyone put things near his face. Very positive experience.

My kids and I absolutely love Northwest Children's Dentistry. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they somehow remember my children every 6 months and make them feel super comfortable and at ease. They are very proactive and caught an issue with a tooth that hadn't even emerged yet and we were able to prevent future damage.

Dr Bunch is a wonderful Dentist! He was so great with my daughter who was very anxious! Everyone in the office is so friendly, compassionate and welcoming. It's very clear they care about their patients and really go the extra mile to make kids feel comfortable. Dr. Bunch was great at communicating options in a really clear and thoughtful way. I feel SO lucky to have found this practice and that we were able to get an appointment!! Thank you all

My kids go here with little resistance. My children have been gifted with bad dental genes, but Dr. Bunch has kept his eye on my kids' mouths, and I can't thank him enough.

Our kids and us love NW Dentistry. The staff and dentist are very friendly and knowledgeable, they also work really well with blended families and the challenges that come with two households. Love how comfortable our kids are with their bi-annual cleanings and when needed dental work. The kids are always at ease and comfortable being at NW Children's Dentistry.

Our son Nash fell on a metal water bottle yesterday at school and chipped 2 permanent front teeth. Thanks to Dr. Bunch, Annie, and the whole team at Northwest Children's Dentistry for immediately fixing his teeth. Nash has sensory disorder and not the easiest patient but they are amazing with kids and true pros!!! Crisis averted!

The entire staff is friendly & great with the kids! My husband and 4 y/o son had a positive visit with Dr. Bunch so we decided to bring in our daughter in as well. I took our 1 year old in for 1st time today and she didn't shed a single tear! Also very clean..we felt safe here! Thank you.

We have been taking our 6 yr old and 3 yr old here since they were 13 months old. Every time the experience is wonderful! From check-in to check-out the clinic is efficient, and all of the staff are kind and patient. We see both Dr. Bunch and Dr. Marshall, although our girls are partial to Dr. Marshall "the girl dentist" they do great with Dr. Bunch. At our most recent visit due to a history of headaches in my 6 yr old, Dr. Marshall examined her specifically looking to rule out/in if any dental concerns may be contributing. Dr. Marshall gave me extra time, showing me x-rays, discussing causes, and giving me an entire education. My children are literally excited when I tell them we have a dentist appt.

I know a thing or two about dentists.My mother is a dentist. My brother is a dentist. His wife is a dentist. Two of my nephews are dentists. Both are married to dentists. Drs. Marshall and Bunch are my kids' dentists. That says it all.

We have been taking our kids to Northwest Children's Dentistry since they were not even 2 years old. Dr. Bunch and Dr. Marshall are so patient, kind and helpful with kids. While this practice is busy, once you are in as a patient, and you schedule your appointments 6 months in advance , it is like clockwork. There is a reason they are busy. Restaurants that have flavorful, appetizing food and genuine service are busy. I ALWAYS hesitate to eat in a slow restaurant. Northwest Dentistry is not only busy for a reason, their expertise and bedside manor matches the quality of a 5 star restaurant which is only surpassed by their availability in emergency situations. When our son was only 3 years old, he chipped his tooth and Dr. Bunch answered right away and got him that day late in the evening. Thank you, Drs. Bunch and Marshall! We love you!

We have been coming here for years! All of the staff is super welcoming, compassionate and patient. Claudeth is a family favorite but everyone has been nothing but amazing! One of my kids has some anxiety and Dr. Bunch was so thorough and patient it really made the experience great! Definitely recommend.

Looking for a good dentist , sadly they don't take a well known insurance unless child is 3 and under . Worked in dental before and hadn't heard that before but maybe itsspecialty type situation.
