Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.

An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.

Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

I also got pushed into a bunch of stuff that secondary opinions said are unnecessary. This place was good for years... now, I never know if I will see the same dentist or other staff. Coupled with being scared and pushed into expensive procedures... no thanks.

STAY AWAY!! Dr. Bulsara tried to push 4 root canals and crowns on me. Almost $5,000 worth of work. I switched providers and turns out, I only needed two fillings. The rest of the staff are also abrasive and rude.

UNPROFESSIONAL!! We were 10 minutes late and they said they will not see my son that day. We picked him early and he missed school for the appointment and they did not even consider that. Last visit - we were there waiting 40 mins after appointment time before being called. My appointment they cancelled 30 mins before the appointment without any notice. Don't have double standards. If you cannot follow the timing yourself dont put it on others. One doctor is nice. The good staff has left. My 7 yr old x-ray last year the staff was able to take. This year the new staff could not take 1 x ray of his. So disappointed. Have moved the entire family out of this clinic.

This office used to be good a few years ago. Lately they cant keep appointments and when you do one they really push for all these additional services. My wife also got pushed into the "deep cleaning" that others have mentioned.

unprofessional. I requested for an appointment for a tooth ache on 10/12, and I got a schedule for 10/25/2021. on 10/25 they called and said doctor isn't available and re-scheduled me for 11/02. today on 10/29 they are calling again and telling the doctor isn't available for another complete week which leads me to next appointment date in the second week of November. Why would someone have to wait for 1 month to be treated for tooth ache?

Let me preface this review with this; I, like so many of you, am quite terrified of the dentist. I've had some horrible experiences in the past...but Dr Bulsara with northwest dentistry is a kind, gentle and extremely knowledgeable dentist. She absolutely changed the way I think of going to the dentist. I had to get a crown and a filling done recently, I was in and out in 2 hours. I experienced no pain whatsoever during and now after the procedure. Dr Bulsara and team made me feel comfortable and cared for, to the point at which I felt I could fall asleep in the chair! 5/5 stars -- recommendation

They treat you like family. I was afraid of dentists for too long, but thanks to this fine team I'm on the road to having a better smile. Update after major oral surgery: I was panicked at the thought of multiple extractions, but they once again made me feel at ease and thanks to IV sedation and the extremely caring team, everything was taken care of with practically zero discomfort.

Honestly, after having a streak of bad dentists, I must say that Dr. Bulsara is amazing. She answers all my questions and gives more detailed advice than any other dentist I've ever visited. I got my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Rhyne, and while I wasn't awake during the procedure, the pre + post op experience was good.

Northwest Austin Dentist have an amazing team. Dr. Bulsara is so kind and alway makes sure I'm comfortable. She truly cares about the health of my teeth. Natasha cleans my teeth to perfection. She is funny and gives me the knowledge to take home to keep my teeth extra clean. They both have changed my mind about the dentist. I actually enjoy my time here!!! And I can't forget about Jenny at the front desk, she goes over and beyond to help me with insurance advise (since I don't have dental insurance they work with you more than any clinic I've been to), scheduling, and making it a priority to email me records. She is super friendly and accommodating. I appreciate you all and thank you for your service!

Hello. I just got my root canal done. The Doctor who is the root canal Specialist and her team were fabulous! Amazing work! I didn't even have to use the laughing gas. And it was nice and smooth the entire procedure. Thank you so much!

I've gone to this location three times now. The first two times were fine and staff were great. But all three times I've gone the staff and dentists have been completely different. This last visit has kind of turned me off to them and I'll likely be looking for another provider. There seemed to be a push to upsell services. I was there for a simple cleaning. I was offered teeth whitening for $350 because I had "stains" on my teeth, yet they were in great condition and not much was needed to be cleaned. I don't have pearly white teeth, but they aren't yellow either.... Then they wanted to use "irrigation" while they cleaned in case my gum bleeds so bacteria doesn't get in. I didn't realize this wasn't a normal part of a cleaning until I was signing a document in front of me to pay $30. I'd have been just fine without it as my gums bleed minimally and not all over. Wasn't really worth my time to argue it and it's my fault to begin with for agreeing but was just another upsell that I've never had experienced before. The last thing was that I had scheduled an appt first thing in the morning and I received a call after their business hours that they wanted to move my time back because they had too many patients. Luckily I have a flexible work schedule and could accommodate and the call center staff were very nice as well when I returned their call to schedule later. All in all, decent place to go but I prefer a more personal relationship/experience with my healthcare providers and I'm not a huge fan of upselling, especially when I'm only there for a routine cleaning with already healthy teeth.

Went in for an emergency because I was having severe tooth pain. They were really nice and understanding about my teeth health. I need a root canal and they prepped the tooth today so there's a little bit less work when I go in for the the canal. They worked with me and helped me get discounts because I don't have dental insurance.

This is not the same office it was 2 years ago. Every face is new and not one smile among them. The practice overall was rude and had no care for the patient. They did not listen and were abrasive. Dentist did not care for the reason of the visit and started working on different issues without authorization. I no longer recommend this place.

Showed up at 9 when they first opened and didn't check out until 11:00. X-rays only took 25 minutes, I spent a lot of time sitting and waiting in the exam room.

Dr. Bulsara runs a great team of people. From the person that made my appointment, to Jenny the Benefits Coordinator that worked out a great payment plan for me to be able to afford to get all my dental issues resolved at a great price. The entire team was very professional and I got in and out in a timely manner. I will referring all family and friends of mine that live in Austin to visit Dr. Bulsara's office for all of the dental care.

Just recently had 4 wisdom teeth removed and the oral surgeon Justin Seaman did an AMAZING job. My boyfriend stated that after my surgery, he took the time to explain how to take care of me afterwards and gave him all the instructions to follow. My healing process has been great and it doesn't even look like I had teeth removed in my mouth. Everyone that helped during the surgery were also great as they kept me calm before I went under. Thanks for such a great experience!!!
