Dr. Kulesa grew up in Northeastern Ohio, but she has called Columbus home since 2005. She received her Bachelors degree from Xavier University, and went on to the Case School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated in the top of her class. She was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the Nation Honor Society for Dentistry, an organization that represents the highest achievements in dental scholarship, professionalism and ethics. Dr. Kulesa has also recently earned her Masters in Business Administration from Ashland University.
Dr. Kulesa has built Northstar Family Dental around the philosophy that oral health can be maintained in a comfortable, relaxing, and even enjoyable environment. She has devoted her professional career to all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry,and enjoys treating patients of all ages. Dr. Kulesa is certified by the Ohio State Dental Board to perform both Oral and IV sedation and has a passion for helping patients who experience severe dental anxiety.
Northstar Family Dental has grown tremendously since opening in 2010. To keep up with the demand, she has assembled an elite group of doctors to provide expectational care to the growing practice. Although her first love will always be treating patients, Dr. Kulesa spends much of her time focused on the vision of the company and mentoring her team.
Community involvement is a fundamental part of the Northstar Family Dentals core values. Both offices are active participants in a number of local organizations and charities. Dr. Kulesa has been recognized by Sunny95s Outstanding Women in Columbus and as a Hometown Hero for her role as a female entrepreneur advocate and her charitable work in the community. She has also been honored by Smart Business Magazine as a top executive of one of the smartest 50 companies in the region based on her ability to effectively build and lead a savvy organization. Dr. Kulesa was selected by the Ohio Dental Associations Executive Committee as the 2021 recipient of the Marvin Fisk Humanitarian Award, which is given to dentists who have provided oral health care to those in need by donating their time, skills, and personal resources.
Outside of the office, Dr. K, as she is know to her patients and team, enjoys playing tennis and traveling. She spends her free time with her husband, Steve, their two daughters, Sophia and Stella, and their adorable pugs Frankie, Rosie, Bruno and Daisy.

Friendly and helpful staff! I like to go to Northstar because they treat me very nicely. I chipped my tooth and the dentist did a really good job that even my husband couldn't tell that I have work done on it. I highly recommend the Westerville location.

They wanted me to leave a review so here goes. My crown popped off and my dentist was closed so I asked if they could fit me in at Northstar and they gladly accepted me I go in and they say they need to take an x-ray. The dentist comes into the room and tells me that I have an infection in the tooth that's lost it's crown and that they're going to need to do another root canal, or they can just cement the crown back on but I would have to do the root canal later. They asked me which I would like to do? I'm in shock so I ask for my crown back and leave wondering if my original five star (been seeing for twenty years) dentist messed up or my five star endodontist did. I leave a voice message for my personal dentist informing of what happened and asking her how did this happen? She calls me back shortly after...... Turns out it's not an infection- it's my inclusion. it's healing because I had a massive root canal last year and that spot is still healing....... So no, I don't need another root canal North Star. And I'm glad I trusted my gut and left.

I only have good things to say about Northstar Family Dental. In my five (5) years as a patient I always see team members smiling, actively engaged and clearly committed to the best possible customer experience. There is a positive energy you can feel walking in the door. They have amazing amenities and use state of the art equipment for the most comfortable experience. Also, two office locations, both with ample parking. One of my personal favorites, options for paperless billing and reminders. Make sure to check out the website for more extras including special services, VIP/referral bonuses, prize drawings and monthly donations to local charity organizations. You should call today, I am absolutely, positively sure that you wont find better in all of Ohio, maybe even all of the world!!
