Dr. Ramani Gowducheruvu has been practicing Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery since 2012. After completing her bachelors in dental sciences in India, Dr. Ramani went to NYU College of Dentistry and earned her DDS. While in her dental school, she externed at multiple hospitals in NY and fell in love with Oral and Maxillofacial surgery.

Dr. Ramani did an Internship at Kings County Hospital Center, Brooklyn, NY which is a Level-I trauma center. Following her internship, Dr. Ramani completed her OMS Residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC. She also went on a mission trip with Surgeons for Smiles team to Bangladesh to perform Cleft-Lip/Palate Surgeries.
Dr. Ramani was in private practice in Pennsylvania for a few years and decided to pursue TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint) and Maxillofacial Trauma Surgery Fellowship at Mercy Hospital in Saint Louis, which is also a Level-I trauma center. Her special interests include Extractions, Dental Implants, Bone Grafting, TMJ surgeries and Maxillofacial Trauma and Reconstruction, Pathology, and Orthognathic Surgeries.

This was my second time going back to get my wisdom tooth pulled. I was completely comfortable and they have a amazing staff! The process was painless and made me feel great! Dr lee Mac whitesides is awesome! I came back because of how my procedure went the first time! I will be back if need be I strongly recommend this dental office if you are looking for outstanding service! And someone to trust to take care of Any dental problems.

I have to say my actual oral surgery went ok, but the way the staff handled the billing was terrible. Quoted me one price and after I paid, months later I got a letter from my insurance company saying I over paid substantially, when i addressed it with the dental office they then came up with all of these other charges that they failed to mention initially, and had I not called them they were going to try to keep my money, the front desk staff, Becky in particular has very poor customer service skills and her attitude and professionalism is horrible. For those reasons I wouldn't recommend for customers to go there, the lies about what my insurance covered and the rude staff made my experience unpleasant

My daughter, 17, had her wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Mac. He was very professional and did a great job, painless. My daughter wasn't too pleased with nurses bedside manner but she also was getting her teeth pulled. Billing was fine, and front office staff was nice. Can see where some people could say the staff is a little sterile, staff could lighten up and smile more .

I came here for a consultation to get my wisdom teeth extracted. However, after the consult and several experiences with speaking with the Front Desk staff over the phone, I decided to go elsewhere. The lack of professionalism and courtesy from the front desk specifically was enough for me to look elsewhere. It was over simple tasks such as setting up an appointment. It was a frustrating experience with them.

I had my wisdom teeth removed on Friday by Dr. Whitesides and it was a great experience! I did not wait long at all even though I ran a little late due to traffic. It was all a painless experience, and would recommend this office to anyone.

These guys are great. My experience yesterday was a good one; at least as good as having a tooth pulled can be. Everyone was very friendly, professional and helpful throughout the process. I am very impressed with Dr. Whitesides.

I had my Wisdom teeth removed 2 years ago. The surgery and recovery was great but the one star is for billing. Before I had the surgery they gave me an estimated cost of $120 with my insurance. They told me I had awesome insurance and that was all I would need to pay. Months after the surgery, a bill was sent to my house for over $700. This amount goes against the original cost they gave me before the surgery. There seems to be a continuous scheme with billing. They are act as if they cannot give the up front REAL prices of the operations, until after the surgery is complete.Please do your research and pay attention to the reviews. I am not the first to mention this problem with billing. I have never had a mismatch of prices with any other heath care provider concerning the price of medical operations until Northside Oral Surgery.

I would not recommend this dentist. Highly unprofessional and front desk continued to increase overall pricing of my surgery when final pricing was already set -which happened on three different occasions during first visit to the third for post-op. Front desk is unprofessional and is not very welcoming. We also watched as other patients experienced payment issues on the offices end while in the waiting room.
