A Crossville area local, Dr. Johnny Shanks grew up here and feels privileged to be able to serve his local community with exceptional personalized dental care. He graduated from Campbellsville University with a BS in biology and chemistry. He attained his dental degree from the University of Tennessee School of Dentistry in Memphis. This was my first visit to Northside Family Dentistry. Like most people, going to the dentist isn't on the top of my list of favorite places to go. The staff and dentist all made me feel welcome and I felt assured that I was getting the best treatment available in Crossville. Everyone from the reception desk to my dentist were cheerful and friendly. It was a wonderful experience!

My veneers weren't a great fit, so they needed to be remade, which is OK . But I am not pleased that I have to wear the temporaries for nearly another month.

My husband & I have used Northside Family Dentistry for several years. They are highly professional, use the lastest technology, and also have a great "bedside" manner. 2 times the dentist (not dr Shanks) has ripped my mouth apart in what should have been a simple procedure. My shirt covered in blood. They didn't remove the gauze rolls put in to hold the lip up. Wasn't needed to leave in. I will NEVER RETURN THERE!!!! The ladies are very nice and helpful

I haven't had much luck in finding a good dentist office in Crossville since moving here. I had my first appointment today at Northside for my cleaning. Peggy was amazing and the staff were all very nice. I already have an appointment for next week to have my tooth pulled and an implant started. I'm excited I can get all the work needed done in their office plus I don't need to wait months for appointments like in other offices I've been to. I highly recommend. I'm very pleased so far! I just wish I found them sooner!

I was in trouble, in pain and uncomfortable. The staff arranged a visit and Dr Clabough and nurses took care of the rest. The entire staff was experienced, capable and very pleasant. The operation went smoothly and without complications. Today I'm on the road to healing and with a reachable dental plan for the future. I highly recommend this professional team.
