Northside Family Dental Care is owned and operated by Dr. Nick Gidwani (DDS, MDS) and Dr. Chitra Gidwani (DDS), who have been providing quality dental care to the Phoenix community for over 20 years. Dr. Nick Gidwani has been practicing in Phoenix since 1984, after completing his Masters degree in Oral Pathology and a rotation in Oral Surgery. He also serves on the Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners as a consultant. As a general dentist, Dr. Nick (as his patients call him) performs most procedures, but focuses on root canals, crown and bridge and cosmetic dentistry. He also does a lot of teeth whitening, leaving his patients with bright smiles and happy faces. Dr. Nick also teaches at the prestigious Midwestern University Dental School and enjoys imparting his dental skills to dentists of the future. Away from work, Dr. Nick enjoys travelling with his family (especially to South East Asia and Europe), playing the guitar, and reading. Dr. Chitra Gidwani has been practicing in Phoenix since 1988, after completing her Western Regional and Arizona State Board Examinations. She frequently works with the Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners as a panel member. Dr. Gidwani focuses on extractions and dentures, and also enjoys crown and bridge work. She has a special knack of making her patients feel at ease, while delivering quality dental care. Her office is lined with testimonials from her patients. In the evenings she also teaches dental assistants at her school, The Northside Academy of Dental Assisting. A mother of two children, Chitra loves to hike and travel.

If you need a root canal or anything really and are tired of getting charged too much on dental work come here they have the best work for the best price and they are very nice. They'll work with you the best they can!

I have a partial it was better experience than when I got the first set. They placed partial in my mouth for me. Definitely wish I had came to there initially.

Dr.C Gidwani n her staff are very professional, caring n great at what they do. I had a tooth pulled n a root canal and I must say it was one of my best experiences at a dentist if there were such things . But I highly recommend coming to this establishment to have your dental needs taken care of. They also except acchs just an FYI. Thanks again Dr. Gidwani

Called for an appointment and they took me in right away. The staff are all so friendly. Once I had a seat I let the assistant know that I was so afraid and in a lot of pain. She claimed me down and made me feel so comfortable and was so gentle taking my X-ray and was so patient with me. Dr. Gidwani let me know I needed a extraction. The assistant and the doctor both work so well together and were so fast! I definitely recommend!

Nice People! Helpful! Awesome customer service both in person and over the phone. I had to reschedule my appointment with LHI and the receptionist assisted me and pointed me in the right direction of what and how I needed to do my rescheduling, for the Army, to have services done through Family Dental Care. When I arrived they welcomed me and filled out paperwork and they got me right in. The first lady set up the X-Ray and made sure my blood pressure was good to go. The dentist was kind and told me what I needed for future teeth care but didn't judge me. She was knowledgeable and friendly. The Army picked a great place to help and serve Service Members. Dr Chitra Is probably the best dentist you can ask for. My dad visited her office in the past and recommended her highly......and he was right. She is soft speaking and puts you at ease but very skillful and I hardly felt any pain or pressure during the treatment.

Best dentist I've ever had in my LIFE! So far I have had a wisdom tooth removed and a root canal, and both were a fraction of the pain or time that I've spent getting those done at other dentists. I felt no pain whatsoever throughout the root canal. After the wisdom tooth removal, I had no pain the NEXT day! I was scared my first visit and ended up crying, and they were extremely nice and reassuring and did not make me feel like I was wasting their time. They also let me do a payment plan since I don't have insurance. I recommend them to everyone I know. Thank you!
