Had my root canal done on Friday 8/19/2022. Dr Duncan and his entire staff were great during the procedure and made sure that I was comfortable and not in any pain. Dr Duncan even called me on his own free time that evening around 10pm to see how I was doing. Unfortunately he got my voicemail but was very nice of him to call.

I had my first root canal. Everything went great! I was shocked at how quickly they were done and it was painless. They were very friendly and kind. Dr. Duncan was informative and made sure to check on me during the procedure!

The surgeon and the assistant (sorry if the terminology is wrong) where amazing! I got my tooth fixed and am no longer in pain. Why the three stars? Because of the clerk who handled my check out. The first time I was here she was rude, the next time she informs me I can only do three payments for there payment plan. I was not informed of this when I called and made the appointment. I was actually led to believe I would be able to make a payment plan that I was able to afford or I could fill out paperwork for financial aid. The clerk just now was not having it and forced me to pay more than I can afford. I wouldn't have come here had I known the truth, because now I can't afford to get a crown and the temporary will fall out and it will be all for nothing. Just make sure you don't deal with the rude girl with long black hair.

The friendly staff at Northside Endodontics were great. I'm really thankful for them, because it was my first time to get oral surgery and they helped me feel less panicked about the whole thing!

I was referred to Northside Endoninocs from my regular Dentist, Dr. DeHaven in Anderson.. I have had a couple of root canals in the past when I lived in California, both were totally pain free and successful. Dr. Slavin had a hard time with the inside third root of a upper molar on the tooth's the pain was the worst of and Denistry I have had in the past. He seemed irritated that it was taken him longer then th expected. It seemed he had somewhere to be and this was taken time away from his personal time. It has been about nine months and now I cannot eat or drink anything that is hot, like coffee or warm food on the left side of my mouth without experiencing extreme pain. This was the first time I had been to a root canal dentists that had you sign a waver that states that a root canal is not always successful and the root could grow back. It seems as though they doubt their expertise in this area before they even start. I will not be returning to their office to get the root canal fixed, I will find a competent root canal specialist next time not one recommended by my dentist that probably gets a kickback on sending patient's his way.

I was a little anxious about going to someone new for an upcoming dental procedure. The staff was so nice and Dr. Slavens was very good at spending time with me explaining all our options. I feel like I'm in kind and competent hands.

I needed to get in right away for a toothache. I ended up needing a root canal. They were very professional, I love the way the doctor explained everything to me. They made me very comfortable. I have to honestly say that this was the most pleasant dental experience I have ever had.

First time for a root canal. The stress and anxiety leading up to the procedure was worse than the visit itself! I've had fillings that were worse than this root canal! Staff was great too! Hopefully I won't need to go back, but if I do I know I will be in good hands!

I needed a root canal and get anxiety going to the dentist, but Dr. Duncan and his entire staff were great! Very friendly and I felt no pain at all. I would refer anyone to them.

I went and had a root canal done. Dr Duncan did an excellent job and the only discomfort I had was a slight pinch with the initial shot to help numb my mouth. Dr. Duncan even called later that evening to see how the tooth was & how I was feeling.
