Dr. Stephanie grew up in Spartanburg, SC with her parents, sister and brother. The decision to become a dentist was an easy one. From a young age, she enjoyed going to the dentist and orthodontist and always looked forward to visits from the Tooth Fairy. She attended the University of South Carolina Honors Program and graduated with Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2007. After, Dr. Stephanie moved to New Orleans to attend the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry and graduated in 2011. She fell in love with the South Louisiana culture, food and music. She stayed in the New Orleans area for several years working in a dental office that saw mostly children. It was here she learned her true passion in dentistry was treating pediatric patients.
In order to become the best pediatric dentist she could be, she attended a Pediatric Dental Residency Program at Cincinnati Childrens Hospital and Medical Center in Ohio. It was a cold few years in Cincinnati but she received amazing training. Dr. Stephanie and her family have recently moved back to the Northshore and are so happy to be home. She lives in Covington with her husband, Humphrey, daughter, June, brand new baby boy Mack and their fur babies, Lilly, Pepper and Boo-Boo. They spend their free time going to festivals, eating crawfish and snowballs, and enjoying all the Northshore has to offer.
Dr. Stephanie is excited to open the doors to her office in August 2019! We will start scheduling patients in July. She is excited to bring her years of experience to the Northshore and become an integral part of the community.

Dr. Stephanie and her staff are hands down the best. Brought my son in for a consultation for what I thought was just a lip tie. Turns out he had both lip and tongue. Scheduled to do the release a week later. She made me feel comfortable and made sure I was okay with the procedure and the exercises to follow. Knowing that my son was in great hands was a blessing. I'm thankful that I went there. Turns out he had the worse lip tie she had ever seen. A mama's gut is never wrong! Thank you Dr. Stephanie and the staff at Northshore Pediatric Dentistry!

HANDS DOWN THE BEST PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY IVE EVER USED FOR MY CHILDREN! If a 10 star were possible I would give that because 5 is not enough! From the front desk to the assistant to the hygienist to the dentist were all so welcoming,sweet,caring, great patience, wonderful bed side manner, and wonderful with my boy who has severe ADHD! Me and my child felt so comfortable. They make sure to explain EVERYTHING to your child so they don't get any surprises which is one of the things I love most. I myself work in pediatric orthopedics and can say it's great to see other facilities and specialities treat my baby the same way I always try to treat my own patients! Keep doing what you guys are doing because YALL ROCK!!!

Clean office and super relaxing environment! They took their time and made my son feel at ease about his visit! Dr.Yim was awesome and explained everything as she did it and what his next appointment would intel! The staff was super patient and kind and even took the time to make sure our wait wasn't long. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Excellent pediatric dentist office. All staff are wonderful and accomodating. We have been to 2 other local dentists, this office is by far the cleanest, kindest, and child friendly in my opinion. Dr. Barlow is amazing and explained things not only to me, but to my kids. I am happy to have finally found my kids a dental office to have throughout their childhood. Thanks yall

My sons (&I) love Dr. Barlow! She is such a sweetheart! The first time you meet her, she will make you feel like you've known her for years. She's patient & has an awesome personality. Patient comfort is her top priority (in my opinion). The office is very clean & sanitary. Would recommend 100%

My 3 year old went in wearing his pirate hat and to help complete his costume , they gave him a prize ...he got an eyepatch and no cavities and such a great gentle dental check up ! The office is very modern , clean and we got seen right on time . Ms. Tiffany the dental hygienist was the sweetest ! Truly from the front staff to the back all amazing . Highly recommend for any family who is looking for pediatric dentist ...everyone is super sweet and very extremely patient with my child . Made him feel comfortable and took the time explained each step. Can't wait to return !

We were nervous to bring our daughter to her first appointment because she normally does not like when anyone touches her mouth. It actually went so well and I think that the staff works magic with making the kids feel comfortable!! We are very happy and are so excited to continue going here.

Dr Barlow and her staff are all incredible! They all do an exceptional job making going to the dentist fun for my kids. The office is very clean, inviting, and super kid friendly! My 3 yr old asked for a tv on her ceiling at home I highly recommend Northshore Pediatric Dentistry! Dr Barlow takes her time explaining everything and is so very knowledgeable. Even with her busy schedule she makes time to be playful with her patients. Can't say enough great things about Northshore Pediatric Dentistry!

Dr. Barlow and her staff are truly incredible. They were amazing with my son Logan and made him feel completely comfortable during his dental work. The staff is so warm and welcoming from the moment you arrive. They really go above and beyond at making their patients feel at ease and I can't say enough good things about them. Dr. Barlow is amazing!! We've had some not so great experiences at another chain dental office. I am SO glad we switched. Dr. Barlow is amazing with children, she had my daughters giggling, happy, and distracted throughout their dental work. She is great at explaining everything in detail. The entire staff is warm and welcoming. Highly recommend!
