Dr. Roy is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. He graduated from LSU Dental School in 1996 and then completed his specialty training in Endodontics in 1999. He has been in private practice in Mandeville, Louisiana for 16 years. Dr. Roy is passionate about Endodontics and takes great pride in his work. His goal for each patient is painless, efficient, reliable and affordable Root Canal Therapy.
Pam Gautreaux has been with Dr. Roy for 12 years. She began as Dr. Roys chair-side assistant and has added many skills to our practice. She has learned the business aspects of the practice, before making her way to office manager.
Crystal Ulloa has been with Dr. Roy since 2010. She has been in the dental field for 20 years. She is Dr. Roys chair-side assistant and functions as the Professional Relations Coordinator. She is married and has 3 children.

I had my first root canal today and I was scared out of my mind. Dr. Roy and Haylee took that worry away. It was painless. Yes you feel the shots but Haylee was right there by my side. It has been some hours later and I am feeling some pressure because the numbness is wearing off but still things are good. Thanks everyone for taking care of me.

Dr Roy and his staff are the best. I have used him for 3 root canal treatments over the years. His staff are excellent at their jobs and he is a great Endodontist.

Great team! Dr. Roy is so kind and professional. I was impressed with the courtesy extended from everyone: front desk, dental hygienist, and doctor. They were all patient and attentive to listen to my concerns and work with my complications. Highly recommended!

Dr. Cossich, my regular dentist, referred me to Endodontics specialist, Charles Roy, DDS to have a root canal done. Charles Roy and his assistant were very calming and explained everything. If I ever have to have another root canal done I would definitely use Charles Roy again! Patricia Stephens

It was the best experience visiting dentist. Everything was done very professionally. Dr. Roy is so careful and caring. His assistant was so good and attentive. I didn't feel any discomfort during the procedure. I think I was lucky to get to see such an amazing doctor.

I recently had a Root Canal done here. It was my first, however I am no stranger to the dentist, or dental procedures. While I was not overly nervous, the staff was extremely helpful and calming and the Doctor was wonderful! Hopefully I will never need to return, but if I do I will have no problem doing so!

I had a root canal yesterday. I remember very little of the procedure thanks to conscious sedation. What I DO remember is a fantastic, compassionate, fun, highly experienced team that LISTENED to my silly fears and explained how they would take care of each little problem. And, they delivered! Nobody wants a root canal, but I promise you- These people turn a notoriously bad procedure into a smooth, pleasant experience! My fantastic dentist, Dr. Cossich, referred me to this endodontist because my root canal was complicated. The experience was stellar. Have no fear

Dr. Roy has done several route canals for me. I have never had an endodonist with better bedside manners. His staff is just as friendly as he is.

I really, really, really hate leaving negative reviews but I had a very unpleasant experience here after paying almost $1500 out of pocket for a root canal. I was in a lot of pain and my dentist referred me to Dr. Roy. When I first came in, after blocking out several hours from my hectic schedule with two businesses and recently becoming a new mom, I was sent away and told they didn't have enough time to treat me. That should have been the first sign that I should have seen someone else. However, I rescheduled and let them perform the root canal. When I was finished with the procedure, they informed me that one of their tools had broken off in my canal and "would serve as part of the filling." After asking multiple times if this was normal and if it would be okay long term, they reassured me it would be okay. Well, it was not normal and it certainly was not okay. Several weeks after the procedure, I was having discomfort, horrible night sweats, fevers and gum pain and tenderness. I went to another doctor who found a terrible infection and eventually had to have the whole root canal done over again. I'm writing this publicly not to hurt your business but hoping that you will improve your practice so nobody ever has to go through this again.
