Dr. Monica Lakatos is a native of West Michigan and received a dental hygiene degree from the University of Michigan. She later returned to the University of Michigan for Dental School, graduating in 1993. She completed a general practice residency at Illinois Masonic Medical Center in 1994. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Muskegon District Dental Society, and the American Orthodontic Society, and the Muskegon Community Dental Foundation.
Dr. Michelle Matheson graduated from the University of Iowa School of Dentistry in 1982. She completed a general practice residency at Rush Presbyterian St. Lukes Medical Center in Chicago in 1983. She and her husband Gerry have three children; which keep her very busy with all their extra curricular activities. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the Muskegon District Dental Society, the Muskegon Dental Health Coalition, and is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry.

Excellent care! I broke off a crown, Northshore Dental got me in the very next day and had everything fixed in less than an hour. Could not of been a more positive experience. I highly recommend!

I had pain while brushing on one of my front teeth. Called for an appointment and was seen quickly and problem solved. I was in the office less than an hour and left pain free. I've been going to Dr Michelle since she started her practice. I've been very pleased and trust her with every procedure that she does. The Dental Hygienist I've been going to ever since I can remember is Shawn. She is also very good at her work. As a matter of fact, everyone working there is very pleasant to talk with. Even though our son is a dentist, I will always remain with the people at Northshore Dental.

I joined Dr Monica's practice after my long time Dentist, Dr Fosse, retired. I can't say she loves me as much as my dog, Benji, yet I feel treated very well! Both with the quality of care I receive from Dr Monica and Lynn, the Dental hygienist, and the feeling of family/community that is critical in health care. So, thank you! Can't say I want to see you more than twice a year! But when I do it has always been a good experience.

Michelle Matheson DDS is excellent in her field. Although I am very poor at maintaining a proper cleaning schedule, the staff and her have always been very supportive when I needed emergency care. Due to my work schedule the office is quite understanding in trying to accommodate my schedule. The support staff and front desk staff are also very good at their jobs, professional, yet friendly. The electronic messaging reminders for upcoming appointments enhances my poor memory and is an excellent addition to scheduling.
