Northridge Family Dental Center opened its doors in the city of Northridge in 2007. Since then, we have strived to enhance the oral health of all of our patients. Our office specializes in providing general dentistry care, as well as orthodontics and Cosmetic Northridge dentistry.
I went in during the soccer world cup, for a routine procedure. Boy I had fun watching a game while having my teeth service! Now that's good timing, both for the game and my visit. I really needed some work done.
Dr. Dick Sergio Hoyos is the founder of the office and has been in the dental industry for over 20 years. He grew up in Per, where he graduated from Dental School at the University of Villareal. In 2004, he moved to California, where he obtained his license from the Dental Board of California. Dr. Hoyos continues his dental education with regular seminars and study groups. Dr.Hoyos is a member of the American Dental Association, the Peruvian Dental Association (PADA), the Peruvian American Medical Society (PAMS)
Northridge Family Dental Center has been serving San Fernando Valley dental needs for over 9 years. All along, we have strived to enhance the oral health of all of our dental patients in Northridge. Our office specializes in providing general dentistry care in Northridge, as well as orthodontics and Cosmetic Northridge dentistry.

Had 3 or 4 crowns done at this place. After getting a checkup at another dental office due to the rude staff, I come to find out that all three crowns aren't any good because they are all "open" or improperly sealed and all need to be replaced. Stay away from this dentist. Horrible work and not cheap at all. I will be pursuing in small claims court if no action is taken on behalf of the dentist. Oh and days after a dentist told me that all crowns were improperly sealed, one of them came off while flossing

Northridge Family Dental Center is awesome. Dr. Hoyos is a very good dentist. Dr. Hoyos is very calm and caring. I am very much at ease. He has been my dentist for over 5 years. His office is clean and everyone is so friendly. I recommend him and his office to everyone looking for a dentist.

Beyond impressed. We were referred by a good friend for a dental emergency. They squeezed appointment in within 2 hours of the incident, during the Christmas holiday season. The care and urgency is one that I haven't seen in a long time. Incredible. Thank you Northridge Family Dental

(DON'T BE FOOLD BY THE 5 STAR REVIEWS ..THE DENTIST OFFICE BRIBES PATIENTS GIFT CARDS FOR A 5 STAR REVIEW WHICH IS BIAS TO THE ACTUAL RATING) I had an appointment for my 1 year old daughter. They did not call us untill an hour after her scheduled appointment. This dentist office is not a kid friendly pediatric. There's nothing to keep the child busy in the waiting room, there's nothing in the whole dentist office that gives any indication that they also see kids. Once they called us (after waiting an hour) the dentist had us waiting another 30min in the back. Once he finally came he opened my daughters mouth felt her teeth and that was it. We waited a whole hour and a half just to be seen for 5minutes. The only kid entertainment they have there is a tv in the back not waiting room. I do not recommend this dentist for kids. Dentists like this is why kids end up scared to go to the dentist, they have nothing to entertain the children in waiting room and the staff do nothing to try to make it a good experience for the children.

I was recommended to Dr. Hoyos' office by a friend and couldn't be happier. He is doing my braces, my son's braces and my husband's treatment, so the whole family comes here. Dr. Hoyos is amazing. I have recommended him to all my friends as well.
