He returned to Boston University to receive his Certification of Advanced Graduate Studies in Periodontics in 1991. For over 30 years, Dr. Ariz has been an Assistant Professor of Advanced Periodontics at the Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California. Sahar Rezvani, DDS graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2010 after earning her Bachelor of Science from UCLA. Navid Nobaharestan, DDS received his Bachelor of Science in Biology with honors from UCLA. From there, he attended the University of the Pacific (UOP) School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, he pursued his specialty in Periodontics at the University of Southern California, where he also earned his Masters degree in Craniofacial Biology. Dr. Nobaharestan takes pride in helping his patients save their teeth for life. Robert Sharobiem, DDS completed his Doctorate in Dental Surgery at UCLA in 2009, graduating in the top five percent of his class. Earned a General Dental Practice Residency Certificate at St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was named Resident of the Year in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Certificate at Mount Sinai Hospital, receiving advanced training in facial trauma, oral surgery, and reconstruction. Whether it is wisdom tooth removal or reconstructive jaw, Dr. Sharobiem understands the importance of patient-centered care and the need for collaboration in order to achieve optimal results. Ali Vaziri, DDS completed his undergraduate studies in Chemistry and Biology at CSUN in 1987 and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1991 from UCLA School of Dentistry. Attended USC School of Dentistry to complete his Specialty training in Advanced Endodontics in 2006. Dr. Vaziri is a Board Eligible Endodontist and a member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Western Los Angeles Dental Society. Dr. Vaziri has taught general and emergency dentistry in the past at both UCLA and USC School of Dentistry. Ali Vaziri, DDS cares for complex tooth problems that primarily affect the tooth pulp (the inside of the tooth). Endodontists perform root canal treatments and other procedures to relieve pain.

Kristy joined the Northridge Dental Group team in 1974. She is a Nationally Certified Dental Assistant and holds a state license as a Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions. She began working as a chairside assistant right out of dental assisting school and has been here ever since. Her role at Northridge Dental Group has evolved over the years and she is currently NDGs patient coordinator. Kristy has always been interested in furthering the role of a dental assistant. Besides teaching dental assisting classes on the weekends for 25 years, she is a past president of the American Dental Assistants Association, the California Dental Assistants Association, and the San Fernando Valley Dental Assistants Society.
